I used these brackets for a floating mantel shelf on my brick fireplace. It is holding great! I used different anchors to really bury it in the brick so I can't attest to those, but even if you buy different masonry anchors for this, its still WAY cheaper than most of the other brackets for sale on Amazon or anywhere else online. The only inconvenience in using these brackets was having to make sure they align horizontally, but really, that's a small inconvenience that's worth the 50 dollars these save you over most of the competitors.

Great product. I made live edge ash shelving 1-3/4 thick by 12 inches deep. 10 feet and 7 feet long Very sturdy. Hit the studs with two screws if you angle screws right. Next time I would recommend cutting out the Sheetrock and having the bracket sit directly on the stud. Also make sure that the peg is balls on level coming off the wall and they’ll all slide in nice.

These 12-inch shelf brackets are exactly what I needed! They're sturdy enough to hold all my books (and there are a lot!), easy to install, and look great. The pre-drilled holes made mounting a breeze. Plus, the clean finish adds a nice touch to my living room. They give a secure feel without being bulky

The brackets themselves are good. They are clearly very sturdy, they are decently easy to install. It should be noted you should install them with the bracket post ABOVE the screws, otherwise there's a little bit of the black lip of the bracket that sticks up above your floating shelf, which kinda ruins the floating illusion. The more significant issue I have with these is that the brackets are only as good as the wall anchors, and we tried 8 of the 12 anchors that came with the brackets and all 8 were defective. The first set you can see damaged our drywall by bubbling out a large area, the second set on the other side of the same shelf you can see just want to pull straight out of the wall - they were flush with the wall before putting the shelf on. We ended up just adding additional supports underneath that shelf for now. The second shelf we tried to install had the same problem - all 4 of the anchors just wanted to pull straight out of the wall so when we started to notice the drywall pulling, we didn't put the full weight of the shelf on them. We unscrewed the bracket and used a screw driver to twist the anchors back out of the wall (which shouldn't be possible with anchors that actually work properly), and they came out without a problem. We bought new wall anchors and tried again and the shelves are now holding firm and look great. Overall, I'm disappointed with this company. Because of the defective anchors I have a lot of wall repair to do now AND we couldn't install the shelves where I actually wanted them because of the damage the defective anchors did to the drywall. So, my advice is definitely enjoy the brackets, but get reputable wall anchors first.

I installed these in new construction on wall studs but the hole are too far apart to fit both screws. I added another 2X4 nailer to install the second screw. The brackets are reasonably sturdy. They flex a little but probably won’t be a problem. I bought the same brackets a year ago and they had the holes close enough to attach to a single stud. The second batch took twice as long to install.

We used these for floating shelves we made in our kitchen! They hold a lot of weight without any sign of budging!

The screws it came with weren't particularly the best, but I installed them directly into studs, they dont wiggle, they hold everything I've loaded into them (mostly just a whole bunch of books)
