Great stable stove
This thing falls flat and is very stable when assembled – it's design fits canned heat and mini alcohol stoves perfectly. All four sides provide and effective windscreen while allowing enough air to enter to promote a very hot flame. I have not used it for actual camping, but have tested it at home and it is a very nice unit– it doesn't weigh a lot and folds flat for easy storage in a backpack or a to go bag – the latter is my intended purpose since I don't camp anymore. I bought two of the units for two bug out bags – because, we could get separated and we'll both need to have something to cook on or provide heat for warming hands. I think my purchase was a good one and would recommend this item for those who are not concerned with having the absolute lightest thing on the market.

Its ok for a sterno stove
Id give it 4 stars because of the price and sturdiness of the product. It wasnt hard to assemble but it took some bending of the tabs to get the tray to snug in. Does not keep the wind from blowing the heat away from your pot/pan though. I had a small breeze and it took forever to cook rice. Sterno isnt really the best for quick cooking anyway. Stove folds almost flat. Would i buy another? No. Id rather use a small isobutane stove. But for sterno lovers, its a good purchase.

Compact, folds flat, easy to use
Coughlan stove folding burner- folds flat to store, compact, easy to use. Works as elevated burner to use with canned fuel. Great to have in case of power outage to cook or heat food. Would recommend.

You need this for the Zombie Apocalypse
I bought this for my disaster preparedness kit. l love that it is sturdy and quite versatile. In a pinch, you could use things other than sterno to cook with this. I used my Trangia alcohol stove as a proof of concept. One could use sticks in it, if one needed. This is the really important part. Coffee. You see, I cannot exist without coffee. Well, actually that is not true. --> I <-- can exist without coffee, but anyone who has to be around me does not want to live through that. So, I must have coffee. In a power outage, when my house is all electric, this is a problem. I have a Coleman propane stove, a propane single burner unit, and a propane grill. However, in an extended outage, one can burn up a good deal of propane, and those stupid little canisters are not cheap. I could use a larger propane tank, with some adaptation, but that is inconvenient, and the propane still is not that cheap. I decided that the most cost effective way to go, since I don't have a fireplace, was to use an alcohol stove. That led to me buying a Trangia stove kit. I LOVE that thing. But there is one problem. Yes. The coffee. The way the Trangia kit is designed, I can't just throw a percolator on it. So I either have to use a backpacking stove, make French Press coffee by boiling water in my JetBoil or other gas-powered arrangement (defeating cheap alcohol burner approach), etc., or I need something that will support my percolator. This is the kind of thing engineers sit around and think about when the power is out for extended periods, in case you wondered. Enter the Coghlan's Folding Stove. I can throw my alcohol burner inside and my percolator on top. Tah dah! Coffee. If a mountain blows up or we have the Big One (eathquake), and I am stuck for days, I can even use sticks when the mineral spirits, Heet, and any other burnable fuels are all gone. I can have coffee, even during Armageddon. I suppose I could even cook food with this, if I had to. ;) Great for throwing in the car for emergency kit on road trips, camping, and just because it is a fun little stove. In fact, I think I am going to buy a second one so that I can leave it in my car. C'mon, have you never watched Survivorman??? I considered buying the Sterno brand folding stove, but after reading reviews and looking at this one in stores, the quality of this stove sold me on it. I am very happy with it. It's a great addition to my disaster preparedness kit and is just handy to boot. Glad I bought it.

I recently purchased the Coghlan's Folding Stove for my outdoor adventures, and I have been thoroughly impressed with its performance and design. The simplicity of use is a standout feature of the Coghlan's Folding Stove. Setting it up is a breeze, and I was amazed by how quickly is to assemble. The ingenuous design allows for efficient airflow, ensuring that the fuel burns evenly and consistently. One of the most impressive aspects is the sturdiness of the Coghlan's Folding Stove. Despite its lightweight and compact design, it feels incredibly solid and can handle larger pots and pans without any wobbling. This sturdiness adds an element of reliability to my outdoor cooking experience, giving me confidence in its durability even in rugged environments. What truly sets this folding stove apart is its versatility. It's compatible with a variety of burners types, including alcohol and fuel tab stoves. This flexibility gives me the freedom to choose the fuel source that best suits my needs for each trip. Whether I'm using alcohol or fuel tabs, the stove delivers consistent heat and reliable cooking performance. If you're looking for a reliable and efficient cooking solution for your outdoor adventures, I wholeheartedly recommend giving the Coghlan's Folding Stove a try.

Sehr guter Notkocher. Im ersten Moment etwas klapprig aber richtig aufgestellt sehr gut für Spiritus oder Brennpaste Einsatz. Sehr platzsparend
