Renovo International RUP1114 Ultra Proofer 1 Litre, Neutral

I have a 2008 BMW Z4 and the convertible top needed some TLC to make it look better. I followed the instructions and my top now looks almost new! The water beads up and rolls off!

My 08 started to have some leaking and I was pretty desperate to find the item I had used back in 2014. Yes 14. A quick order search and bam there it was!! Applied as directed and I’m good to go yet again. Hopefully the formula remained the same so I’ll be purchasing again in 12 years. lol.

Replacement product arrived today and looks good. Thanks for exchanging the original order as it was defective. The solution is this bottle is thick and cloudy as manufactured, the original bottle was clear and runny.

Extremely satisfied with how well this product worked. Instructions to use a brush were not followed. A brush seems to apply to much product in one area. I used a tile grout sponge to apply the product and found it to be a better applications method. I ordered two bottles for a 2005 VW Beetle top and the process took 1.5 bottles for the first coat. The product is water based so the second coat repels on the majority of the top and soaked in where the top had creases and those areas are where I suspect the top was actually leaking before the waterproofing was applied.The top looks great! The product worked very well. No more leaking. Even looks rejuvenated.

This works very well - water beads up on the top just like a freshly waxed car. It can be a little tricky to put on vertical (or nearly so) surfaces - keep a damp towel handy! I put on one coat, and it lasted about 4 months. I put on two coats this summer - still waiting to see how long it lasts.

Was able to do 2 coats on 2 cars with the larger bottle; a Pontiac Solstice and a C6 Corvette. Both came out beautifully.Wash your car first but do not put soap directly on the convertible top. I put soap directly on the Pontiac top and even though I rinsed it well, if you looked closely, you can tell where I dripped the soap. With the Corvette, I put just a drop of soap and I applied it indirectly and evenly via a very wet microfiber cloth. The Vet came out perfectly. The Pontiac looked good too but on close inspection, there was the soap marks.Get a plastic drop cloth to cover the full cabin so it comes out from under the top, draping over the full car.

I followed the directions. 2007 Saab Aero. I applied three full, even coats (over a two week period- for drying times), despite how difficult this product is to work with. Water beaded beautifully on the first rainy day ( a full week after final application). But then....... This product is water based, so much that it never cures. Aside from the top, I built two testing surfaces, and did not rinse the 2" application brush as a third medium. The roof and both testing mediums became porous, and leaked TERRIBLY. Now, I could have been shipped old product, but it didn't appear so. If I spray water to the roof, or any of the mediums, there is zero evidence of the product ever being applied. The brush is even soft, and ready for a new job.I was hopeful regarding performance, and this stuff costs a fortune due to shipping overseas. Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed. Never again. My suggestion, don't waste your time, your hard earned money, and the extra effort it takes to use this garbage.

This is an excellent product for soft top cars.

Besonders beeindruckend ist die Wasserabweisung – Regentropfen perlen perfekt ab, fast wie bei einer neuen Imprägnierung ab Werk.Ich habe das Produkt nach der Reinigung mit dem passenden Renovo Cleaner aufgetragen, was ich sehr empfehlen kann. Die Kombination sorgt für ein richtig sauberes, tief gepflegtes Ergebnis. Auch nach mehreren Wochen sieht das Verdeck immer noch top aus – kein Ausbleichen, kein Nachlassen der Imprägnierung.Ein weiterer Pluspunkt: Das Mittel bietet UV-Schutz und wirkt schimmelresistent, was besonders bei Cabrioverdecken wichtig ist, die oft Sonne und Feuchtigkeit ausgesetzt sind. Der Verbrauch ist ebenfalls moderat – mit einer Flasche konnte ich mein komplettes Verdeck großzügig behandeln.Fazit:✅ Sehr einfache Anwendung✅ Perfekter Abperleffekt – wie neu imprägniert✅ Frischt Farbe und Struktur sichtbar auf✅ UV- und Schimmelschutz inklusive✅ Made in Britain – qualitativ topIch kann den Renovo Fabric Soft Top Protector uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.
