Super Easy to Apply with Great Results on a Large SUV
Very impressed with how easy Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Coating is to apply. I used it on my Kia Telluride, which is a fairly large SUV, and was able to do the entire vehicle quickly with very little effort compared with traditional wax. It sprays on easily, spreads evenly, buffs off without a lot of work, and left the paint looking clean, glossy, and slick. My Telluride is garaged, so Iโm interested to see how long the protection and water beading last, but based on the ease of application and the initial results, this is an excellent value and a product I would definitely use again.

Unbelievable shine from this product
I've used multiple detailing products over the years, always on the hunt to see if I can find something better. I stumbled upon this ceramic spray coating after watching a Project Farm video, and this might be the best detailing product I have ever used. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. I've used this on just about everything I own. My Corvette is relatively new with only 5,000 miles on it, so the paint was already in great condition and free of contamination. Application was easy and straightforward, spray on and wipe off. Use a small amount of product, less is more. The shine and slickness is unbelievable. My truck sits outside pretty much 24/7. Paint is full of contamination and I didn't clay bar and remove it as I should (directions state to start with a very clean surface.) I'm not trying to win any beauty contests with my truck, so I gave it a good wash and applied this product. Again, the pictures will speak for themselves. After a few rains and several mornings of morning dew, the surface is still spotless and slick. You'll find that dirt, dust etc won't stick to the paint as easily and obviously water will run right off. This is the most my truck has ever shined. I haven't washed it since application and have taken it on a few long trips, this is how the surface presents. And finally, this works on boats too! I couldn't find anything that said this can be used on gelcoat, but I've used spray ceramic coatings on gelcoat in the past and it works great. My boat is kept inside and I keep the surface very clean, so application was easy. Spray on, wipe off, repeat. Again, less is more or you can end up with streaking and high spots. As you can see, the shine is nothing short of impressive. I've had it in the water a couple of times since application and it is still holding up, although being that part of the surface glides through water at 60+mph, it won't last as long as on a vehicle. At the price of this product, I'll happily reapply multiple times per year if needed. I hit both of my jetskis with this too (not pictured) and also got great results. Mind you, this is all with ONE bottle, and I still have some left. This stuff goes far. Will probably hit my 4 wheelers and side by side painted panels once I have those clean to provide some extra protection. If you're on the fence, BUY IT! Impressive stuff for a bargain price. I'll be a customer for life.

One of the Better Easy-Use Products for Shine, Slickness, and Water Beading
This kind of product is popular for a reason: it gives you a lot of the visual and protective benefits people want without the effort of a full traditional wax or coating process. Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions has a strong reputation in the โeasy but impressiveโ category, especially for people who want great water beading, gloss, and a slick finish without spending all day. Good fit for anyone who details their own vehicle and wants solid results with less hassle. Pros: โ Great shine and strong water beading โ Easier than traditional wax methods โ Works on multiple exterior surfaces โ Good balance of convenience and results Cons: โ ๏ธ Surface prep still matters for best durability โ ๏ธ Not a substitute for proper polishing if the paint is already rough Overall, a really strong user-friendly paint protection product.

Should've converted sooner?
OK, so I've been waxing my cars for nearly 40 years. My favorite wax was a carnauba wax made by One Grand called Blitz wax, excellent stuff but usually took about 2 hours to apply and buff out. I was very happy with the shine and protection. One Grand folded as a sign of the times; some Chemical Dudes probably took all their business. I knew I would have to evolve as the market has left carnauba paste waxes largely in the rear-view mirror. Did some research and this popped up as a good product. Was hesitant going from a paste wax to a spray ceramic. Applied a coat last night to my truck and I gotta say I'm a convert. So easy to apply and remove, took about a quarter of the time and the shine is great. Don't know about protection yet, gonna give it another coat tonight as recommended. Even if it only lasts a month, it is great considering how little time is required to apply and the low cost. Always laughed at Turtle Wax products in the past, but this product seems to be great. Also, love that there are no petroleum distillates in the product. Turtle Wax has evolved; I have too.

Great value for the money. Quick and easy to apply. Broad surface compatibility
Great value for the money. I use this on both my vehicles. Quick and easy to apply. I also use Griotโs Garage Ceramic 3-in-1 Wax SiO2 Spray Wax Coating. I'm writing this review and posting it for both products. I sometimes alternate between the 2 products when applying multiple layers. I find both of these work well, are quick and easy to apply, and both products cost around $1 USD per ounce. Both manufactures state there respective products as "a little goes a long way." I am guilty of applying heavy and have never noticed any streaking or hazing. I always apply in the shade to a cool surface. Both of my vehicles are silver so that may hide some of those affects. There are differences between the 2 products. I asked ChatGPT to compare these 2 products. You can copy the section listed at the very bottom of this review and Paste it in ChatGPT (or your preferred AI model) for a comparison summary. Here are a few hi-lights from that comparison. Griot's does not mention use on headlights or exterior glass whereas Turtle wax says its safe to do so. Turtle Wax claims it can be used in direct sunlight whereas Griot's does not. Turtle Wax states broad surface approval. That's convenient so you don't care about overspray on glass or exterior trim whereas Griot's has a narrower stated surface list. There are some differences in chemical composition. Griot's states it also contains Carnauba wax. ------- copy the section below and paste into ChatGPT or your AI model of preference ----- Compare the two spray wax products listed below. According to the manufactures, on what surfaces/materials can these products be applied? Can they be applied in the Sun and/or Shade? What are the manufacturer's claims of each product? BEST! Stands the test of Time and Extreme Weather
There are SO MANY competing products, all with majestic claims. How do you select one? I looked at several tests performed on products by a YouTuber called Project Farm (who I strongly recommend) as well as a number of others who tested side-by-side products. For the price and performance this one was/is a clear winner. SO - I bought it and tried it on my motorcycle and two cars. A little goes a long way too! I followed the instructions and properly cleaned and prepared my vehicles prior to applying. Applied according to directions and was immediately impressed with the shine. I must note that ALL of my vehicles are 15 - 20 years old. The result was very good. Slick finish, nice reflective shine. Each vehicle was driven in a broad range of heat and cold, dusty and storming rain, snow and more. Southern heat in Louisiana, Northern Ice in Iowa. (Even the motorcycle which I took on some 20,000 miles with just the single application of this product.) The dirt and water did not noticeably degrade the finish or effect of the coating. All of the vehicles were washed regularly, the cars through an automated brushless car wash and the motorcycle hand and power spray washed. I did apply a light touch up coat periodically, especially on the motorcycle which saw the most weather/road abuse overall. The shine never diminished, and the vehicles were relatively easy to clean after the application. On the motorcycle I even applied over the chrome and was really amazed to see that the extreme heat of the exhaust did not burn off the coating. I've used all sorts of products from Meguiars to Chemical Guys etc., ALL of which cost much more. While these delivered good results, they fell short in my observation of this product, especially wear ability over time and many washes. The value delivered by this is really amazing, particularly when you consider the size of the container and how much product you receive. One bottle lasted me well over a year with three active vehicle usage. I'm absolutely sold on this as my go-to for vehicle finish and protection. Since using the finish on my Harley Davidson Ultra Limited remains factory fresh!

Real world comparison of Ice Seal N Shine, Nu Finish, and Turtle Wax Hybrid Ceramic
10 week update: Silver car photo above shows water beading after 10 weeks of application (2 coats) of Turtle Wax Hybrid Ceramic Spray on a different car. I applied it again today. Very easy to apply. Can apply to black trim. Nice smell. Nice gloss after application. Will probably stick with this product for paint protection. 4 week update: Second photo is 4 week update after wash and spraying with water. Car has been outside in the rain most of the past 4 weeks. It has rained approximately half of the days. Nu Finish is completely gone. Ice Seal N Shine and Turtle Wax Hybrid Ceramic are mostly gone. There are a few small areas of water beading for each of these. I would state that all 3 products have failed. Overall very disappointing for all 3 products and not the results that are claimed by the "professional" reviewers of these products. Not sure why the durability was so poor. Perhaps it is because I did not do any prep to the paint other than washing it (no decontamination, no clay bar, etc). But the reality is that most people are not going to professionally prep the paint prior to application. In this situation, perhaps the cheapest and easiest to apply product would win - of these, that is Ice Seal N Shine. Conclusions: 1) All 3 products did not last more that 4 weeks, this is very disappointing - I may look into other products once I use up my supply of these 2) Nu Finish: Clearly the worst of the 3 products. I think I am done with Nu Finish and won't purchase it again. It is not durable (at least this bottle of it) and it has the major disadvantage of leaving white marks on black trim and rubber - many cars have lots of black trim these days. 3) Seal N Shine: I think this might be the winner. Of the 3 products, it is the easiest to apply, it can be applied to black trim, and is much less expensive compared to Turtle Wax Hybrid Ceramic. 2) Turtle Wax Hybrid Ceramic: Has slightly more gloss and slickness compared to Seal N Shine (both are much better than Nu Finish). If this is the most important feature for you, than it could be the best. However for me, it is more expensive and it was slightly harder to apply. I would accept these disadvantages, if it lasted longer, but it did not. Therefore, it loses out to Seal N Shine. Original Review: Decided to compare Turtle Wax Hybrid Ceramic Spray Coating to Nu Finish and Turtle Wax Ice Seal N Shine. Washed my over 10 year old minivan with Meguiars Gold class car wash shampoo and dried it with a microfiber towel. Did not do any other prep to paint. Applied Turtle Wax Ice Seal N Shine to the left side of the hood, Nu Finish in the center and Turtle Wax Hybrid Ceramic Spray Coating on the right side. Turtle Wax Ice Seal N Shine is easiest to apply. Just spray then rub on with clean microfiber towel and buff with other microfiber towel. Does not streak. Looks and feels glossy. Nu Finish is rubbed on with slightly moist towel, allowed to dry, then buffed off with a clean microfiber towel. This is more time consuming and labor intensive compared to the Seal N Shine - especially for a whole car. Turtle Wax Hybrid Ceramic Spray Coating is a little more difficult than the Seal N Shine unless you follow the directions closely. The first time I tried it (on a different car), I used too much and towards the end of the application towel because saturated with it. It made some streaks on the paint and trim that I had to buff out with a moist microfiber towel. This issue never happened to me with the Seal N Shine. In terms of the end result, the Seal N Shine and the Wax Hybrid Ceramic Spray Coating look the same. They are both glossy and slick. The Nu Finish is slightly less slick and less glossy. I will try to remember to update this based upon durability. In Summary: - Turtle Wax Ice Seal N Shine: very easy to apply, smells OK, can be applied to trim and paint, glossy finish - Nu Finish: more time consuming to apply (apply, let dry, then buff off), shiny finish (but not as glossy as Seal N Shine and Hybrid Ceramic Spray Coating) has major disadvantage of making white spots on black trim, rubber and plastic. - Turtle Wax Hybrid Ceramic Spray Coating: easy to apply (but a little more difficult than Seal N Shine because if you get too much during the application, it will streak), smells nice, can be applied to trim and paint, glossy finish.

Absolutely the best spray wax.
great stuff. Easy on, easy to buff and provides a deep shine and water resistance. Long lasting through several high pressure washes. Does not affect paint or rubber and plastics. I recommend nor spraying onto glass as it does cause some weird effect at night with oncoming traffic and wet windshields. Will not use anything else.

Turtle Wax 53409 Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Liquid Spray Coating Review. The Turtle Wax 53409 Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Liquid Spray Coating has garnered a reputation as a top-tier option for car enthusiasts and everyday drivers alike. Here's a comprehensive review of its features, benefits, and some considerations to keep in mind: Pros 1. Great Option for Ceramic Coatings at Home For those who are new to the world of car detailing, the Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Coating presents an excellent entry point. Its user-friendly application process means that even those with little to no experience can achieve professional-looking results. The spray formula simplifies the coating process, eliminating the need for complex tools or techniques. This product demystifies the ceramic coating process, making it accessible to everyone who desires the superior protection and shine of ceramic coatings. 2. Provides Good Water Repellency One of the standout features of this spray coating is its impressive hydrophobic properties. When applied to both body panels and glass surfaces, it effectively repels water, causing it to bead and roll off effortlessly. This water repellency not only enhances visibility during rainy conditions but also helps keep the car cleaner for longer periods. The beading action is a testament to the product's superior formulation, ensuring that water, dirt, and grime have a harder time adhering to the surfaces. 3. Easy to Apply Ease of application is a major selling point for the Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Coating. The spray mechanism allows for an even and controlled application, minimizing the risk of streaks or uneven coverage. Simply spray onto the surface, spread with a microfiber cloth, and buff to a high gloss finish. The quick and straightforward process means you can achieve a showroom shine in a fraction of the time it would take with more traditional waxing methods. 4. High Gloss Appearance One of the immediate and most noticeable benefits of using this ceramic spray coating is the high gloss finish it imparts. The formulation enhances the depth and clarity of your car's paint, giving it a mirror-like shine that stands out. This glossy finish not only looks stunning but also adds an extra layer of protection against environmental contaminants and UV rays, helping to maintain the car's aesthetic appeal over time. 5. Longevity of the Coating The durability of the Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Coating is another reason it stands out in the market. A single application can provide protection for several months, reducing the need for frequent reapplications. This long-lasting protection ensures that your car remains well-guarded against the elements, road debris, and other potential sources of damage, all while maintaining its glossy appearance. 6. High Resistance to Harsh Cleaning Products Unlike many traditional waxes and sealants, this ceramic spray coating offers excellent resistance to harsh cleaning products. This means you can wash your car with more aggressive detergents and cleaners without worrying about stripping away the protective layer. This resistance enhances the overall longevity and effectiveness of the coating, ensuring that your car remains protected under various cleaning conditions. Cons 1. Doesn't Work Well with Wax Coat One notable drawback of the Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Coating is its incompatibility with wax coats. Applying this ceramic coating over a waxed surface can lead to suboptimal results, as the wax can interfere with the bonding process of the ceramic layer. To achieve the best results, it's crucial to ensure that the surface is free from any wax or similar coatings before application. Suggestions for Best Results To maximize the benefits of the Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Liquid Spray Coating, follow these steps: 1. Wash and Dry the Car in Shade Start by thoroughly washing your car to remove any dirt, grime, or road debris. It's advisable to wash and dry the car in the shade to prevent water spots and to ensure that the surface is cool to the touch. 2. Rub with Clay Bar Use a clay bar to remove any embedded contaminants from the car's surface. This step ensures that the surface is completely clean and smooth, which helps the ceramic coating bond more effectively. 3. Rinse and Dry the Car Again After using the clay bar, rinse the car thoroughly to remove any residue and then dry it completely. 4. Apply the Ceramic Spray Spray the Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Coating evenly onto the surface. Spread it with a microfiber cloth to ensure even coverage. Buff the surface to a high gloss finish. 5. Avoid Wax Do not use any wax before applying the ceramic spray. Wax can interfere with the bonding process, leading to less effective protection and shine. In conclusion, the Turtle Wax 53409 Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Liquid Spray Coating is a fantastic product for those looking to achieve a high-gloss, durable finish with minimal effort. Its ease of application, impressive hydrophobic properties, and resistance to harsh cleaners make it a standout option in the market. However, for the best results, it's essential to ensure that the surface is wax-free before application.
