Stopped the sliding of worn tread on the ground.
Bought these on a well worn low boot and the tread was worn but the boot still looks good. I was slipping especially in the wet weather which was not good, these were a simple and inexpensive fix and they have been working great. Best part, if they get work I can just peel off and put another set on.

Non-slip Pads
This is a great product for a non-slip addition to your shoes. I recently slipped and fell, so these give me the reassurance I need when walking. They are very easy to apply, and the packaging is awesome if you have some pads left over.

Helpful Extra Grip for Restaurant Work
I bought these non-slip pads for my work shoes in a restaurant, and they’ve definitely improved the traction. The adhesive is strong and stayed on through long shifts with constant walking on slick floors. I immediately felt more secure moving around quickly, especially when carrying trays or stepping near wet spots. The pads are thin enough that they don’t change the fit of the shoe, and they also help protect the soles from wearing down, which is great if you go through work shoes fast. Installation was simple and they bonded well to the bottom of both leather and synthetic soles. The only reason I’m giving them four stars instead of five is that the grip, while good, isn’t quite as heavy-duty as full non-slip work shoes. They offer a noticeable improvement but won’t completely transform very slippery soles. Overall, they are a solid and affordable upgrade that adds extra safety and confidence during a long shift. I would still buy them again.

Stopped my shoes from slipping!
I bought myself the most beautiful sandals, but they were slippery on the bottom. I didn’t wear them all summer until I discovered these now I feel safe and secure and have no slipping issues.

Saved my $75 dollar flip-flops.
Worked like a charm and saved me from having to buy another pair of $75 flip-flops. I have a pair of OOFOS I've had for a year and still look great. However the soles are worn flat. I live in south Florida and wear them everyday, year around. Now with the smooth worn bottoms, every time I step on a smooth wet surface It's like I'm on ice. Last week I slipped and fell into the pool, hitting my head on the way in. I bought these on Amazon for $8 and they arrived in one day (on a Sunday!). After cleaning the bottom of the OOFOS flip-flops with alcohol I cut them to fit in the proper places where the most ware was and when applied they stuck like they were nailed on. I was afraid the soft and flexible rubber of the OOFOS flip-flops would cause these pads to not stick well and peel off. No so! For the past few days I've walked on concrete, through wet grass and rubble. I've turned and spun and they are still sticking like they are part of the sole. Best of all, I can walk across smooth and wet marble tile and my feet stay in place. No more slipping unless I really try and get on a part of the sole that the pad is not covering. What a God send! Edit and update: A week later and many miles of walking and these pads are still sticking the my soft rubber sole flip-flops. I've walked over all kinds of stuff including dog poop. LOL! I'm not sure why a few of the other reviewers are seeing their pads slip off. Maybe they didn't clean the sole of their shoe properly or at all? You gotta clean the dirt and grime off. I used regular alcohol and did a complete cleaning a couple times with with a cloth. The I made sure the sole was completely dry before applying the pad.

Squeaky the Clown says, "Don't buy these things!"
These things are pure junk! Let me try to explain. As instructed, I thoroughly cleaned the soles of my running shoes. I applied these defective non-slip pads to the bottom of my shoes as instructed. I did a few things in my carpeted office and then went to go buy lunch down the hall. My shoes squeaked so loud on the marble floor, people were giving me sideway looks and smirking at me as if I had just graduated clown school. When I got back to the office, I found the two rubber pads on the floor on different sides of the office. WITHIN THE FIRST HOUR, THE RUBBER GRIP PADDING SEPARATED, NOT FROM THE SOLES OF MY SHOES, BUT FROM THE CHEEP DOUBLE SIDED TAPE THAT THEY WERE , "ADHERED," TO! The squeaking sound was from sticky tape on the bottom of my shoes. That part stuck just fine as I had to spend a half an hour using GOOF OFF to get the adhesive off my shoes. These things are absolutely horrible!!!

Nothing to dislike: They are necessary, for here in Canada, it does get somewhat slippery in the winter and all my boots have these adhesives on them

Had sandals with smooth soles so was afraid of falling over when wearing them. These great little grippy pads solved the problem. Have put them on a few pairs of shoes. Now I can walk with confidence!

Does the job very well. Glue can be made a little stronger, but all in all a great product.
