These are very well constructed, heavy duty & watertight digital road flares, it has a magnetic base and a folding hanging-hook so finding a place to mount these won’t be a problem, very bright with multiple flashing modes, I feel a lot better having these with me, much more effective than the old 15 minute burn roadside flares and these can be deployed much faster & without the fire hazard. It’s a great value and comes in a nice case, they are compact and can be stashed in the glove box or spare tire well for when you need them.

I had no trouble putting batteries in these and they are amazingly bright. I do not mind that they did not come with batteries because they were not expensive to begin with, and I was able to buy good quality batteries so I know they will last. The magnet is plenty strong to hold the light to the car. I put them on the back of my horse cart and bounced it around quite violently, and they did not budge. So I am positive they will have no problem at all staying put on a parked car! I say, all the complaints are bunk. this was a great purchase, and I was going to buy more of them but they were out of stock when I looked again.

I bought a pair of these safety flares a few months ago for my car emergency kit. Putting in the batteries was easy enough, and in the process I felt that the flares are sturdy and well-made. They lit up bright and visible, and the magnet was strong. I haven't had to use them in an emergency yet (hopefully never, knock on wood), but I do feel safer having them at the ready in my trunk. My only concern would be that a defective battery would leak into the flare, and since the flare requires a tool to open the battery compartment (likely for added water-resistance, understandable choice in that case), I can't very easily check on the condition of the batteries every now and again, and I also wouldn't want to leave them without batteries (because then in an emergency, I'd have to use tools to put the batteries in). But in the end I suppose it's fairly unlikely that a battery would leak, I used quality batteries, so I'm sure it'll be fine. I'm happy with my purchase, and would recommend to others.

This item is very well designed. It is light, easy to carry (2 per pack in a neat little cloth carrier bag), and works just great. The lights around the perimeter can be lit in many different patterns depending on the conditions. The lights are bright, and this could really help avoid problems on the road. The only negative is that you need to put in batteries (3 or 4 each), and opening the water-tight device can be an adventure. On the other hand, they will work even under water or in a rainstorm! We have these as gifts to our family and everyone loves them.

I actually bought these for my plane. It's getting dark earlier, so I'm finding myself flying more often at night. A lot of the places I over fly are remote. These are small, reasonably rugged, and claim to be waterproof. Plenty of flash modes to attract attention. The white LEDs are reasonably bright, but poor color and focus. This is an emergency light, so they're perfectly fine for the application. You wouldn't want to use the white LEDs as a tent light, but it's more than sufficient to do a roadside repair. I hope to never need these, but I figure Murphys Law - - if I have them, I'll never use them.

These are great! I bought some for myself, and then reordered a set for my son. They are incredibly versatile, being able to magnetically attach to your vehicle, and have several lighting variations, such as strobe, etc. They are very sturdy, very attention getting, and having several covers all the bases one would want attention to, as in in front, rear, and side or roof. I like having the case too. I highly recommend for peace of mind concerning safety, and think everyone should have a set!

These things are awesome. So many different options. Pretty bright and seem tough and sturdy. Going in my emergency pack, so i'll need to rely on them when the SHTF... but after toying with some today I feel confident they will perform when you need them. Added bonus: party lights for camping. If you do a few on different strobe settings, you have quite a rave setup in your pockets!

The led lights offer many flash options and appear to work fine. The flimsy case is cheap, has marginal zipper. Very tedious to get lights back in case. The case is best just discarded.
