Use the readings with the vent area to help calculate CFM and investigate uneven ventilation around your home. - TRACK GUSTS, LULLS AND AVERAGE WIND: MAX, MIN and AVG readings help you see how wind changes before a drone flight or while sailing. Choose mph, m/s, km/h, ft/min or knots; °F/°C air temperature and wind chill readings add context to outdoor checks. - BACKLIT DISPLAY AND SECURE GRIP: Read your handheld wind speed meter in dim equipment rooms or after sunset. Non-slip side grips and an included wrist strap help keep it secure; the backlight turns off after 15 seconds to conserve battery power. - TRIPOD MOUNT FOR HANDS-FREE CHECKS: Attach your wind gauge to a compatible 1/4-inch tripod for extended measurements at the job site or outdoors. The included carrying case keeps your kit together between uses. Tripod not included. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00ZHKWCP4 | | Best Sellers Rank | #12,070 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ( See Top 100 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ) #4 in Wind Speed Gauges | | Brand Name | H HOLDPEAK | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars (4,501) | | Included Components | Digital Anemometer, Screwdriver, Lanyard, Protective Case,User Manual | | Item Dimensions | 6.49 x 3.34 x 1.49 inches | | Item Highlight | HVAC Air Flow Velocity Gauge Tester with Backlight, Wind Temp Measuring Device, Outdoor Wind Gauge for Drone Sailing Shooting | | Item Type Name | Handheld Wind Speed Meter | | Item Weight | 200 g | | Manufacturer | H HOLDPEAK | | Material Type | Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) | | Model | HP-866B | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Part Number | AuHP-866B | | UPC | 703546921142 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | 1 year | ## Product Details - **Brand:** H HOLDPEAK - **Item Weight:** 200 g - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 6.49 x 3.34 x 1.49 inches - **Material:** Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) ## Images ![866B Digital Anemometer, Wind Speed CFM Meter for HVAC & Outdoor - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71KY2vF3jtL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: What wind speeds and temperatures can it measure?** A: This digital wind meter measures 0.67–67.1 mph with ±5% wind speed accuracy, plus air temperature from 14°F to 113°F. Choose from five wind speed units and switch between °F and °C. **Q: Can I use this anemometer to check HVAC airflow?** A: Yes. The HP-866B measures air velocity at HVAC vents, duct openings, and exhaust fans, helping you compare airflow between outlets and check home ventilation. **Q: Does this airflow meter display CFM directly?** A: No. CFM depends on both air velocity and the opening’s area. Simply multiply the average air velocity measured by the meter (ft/min) by the opening area (ft²) to calculate CFM. **Q: Is the screen easy to read and the meter simple to use?** A: Yes. Clearly labeled buttons make it easy to switch units and view MAX, MIN, or AVG readings. The backlit LCD shows wind speed and air temperature together, including in low light. **Q: Can I mount this wind meter on a tripod?** A: Yes. The HP-866B has a standard 1/4-inch threaded mount for tripod use, keeping your hands free for target shooting, drone flying, sailing, or extended HVAC airflow checks. Tripod not included. ## Frequently Bought Together - HoldPeak 866B Digital Anemometer Handheld Wind Speed Meter for Measuring Wind Speed, Temperature and Wind Chill with Backlight and Max/Min - Protmex HT607 Temperature Humidity Meter High Precision Digital Hygrometer with Ambient, Relative Humidity, Dew Point, Wet Bulb Thermometer, Min/Max Hold, LCD Backlight with Cover Protector --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.is/products/16114165-866b-digital-anemometer-wind-speed-cfm-meter-for-hvac-outdoor](https://www.desertcart.is/products/16114165-866b-digital-anemometer-wind-speed-cfm-meter-for-hvac-outdoor) --- *Product available on Desertcart Iceland* *Store origin: IS* *Last updated: 2026-11-06*
