Non Pareil Capers - 32 oz - Packed in the USA

I was concerned that a large jar of capers would not survive the trip to my house, but they were packed with such care that they arrived totally unscathed! Sad to say, I've had so many shipments of goods from other vendors that met with disaster that I am truly impressed by this seller. The capers, themselves, are lovely. Salty, but not too salty, without the bitterness I have encountered in capers from my local grocery. They are small, tender and full of flavor that isn't just salt. And tremendous value for the money. I only paid about three times what I pay for the little jars in my store for easily 10 times as many capers! Very happy, and I will order these again.

lovely Non Pareil Capers. Perfect size buds, great flavor. And finally a jar large enough to suit. I use capers all the time in my cooking endeavors and the tiny little jars you find at the market are just a waste of money. I always feel I am paying more for the jars than the capers, because there are so few actual capers in the jars. These are a wonderful find and a great addition to any kitchen, particularly if you like to make picata or picadillo, or simply add them to your lox, bagel and cream cheese (much better with the onion than tomato). Bargain price when you consider you would have to buy about 16 little jars at the market to get this amount of capers.

Great value for caper fans! The buds are firm in a well filled jar. They taste exactly as fine capers should and flavor everything from my dips and hors d’oeuvres to Caesar salad, fish, chicken and mad crazy good puttanesca. I even add them to finished béarnaise to add some umami crackle to steak. Very happy with this find and will buy again and again.

Anybody that the likes to use capers in sauces knows that you can be generous when adding. The typical caper jars that you usually find in grocery stores are tiny at only 4 ounces each. This jar from Amazon is 32 ounces. You have convenience and you don't have to be stingy. Also, an open jar kept in the refrigerator stays good for months without any loss of quality.

Pickled products are being recommended everywhere these days. Thought I'd give these a try based on the reviews and they were not wrong: great flavor, size, and texture. (And the value can't be beat!) You cannot make lemon chicken without these! Or just squeeze fresh lemon over a serving of rotisserie or roasted chicken and sprinkle on a dozen or so of these. I also add a liberal amount of them to tuna salad, mixed in with cumin, chili, mustard, mayo, a little pinch of sea salt and a bit of eucalyptus honey: perfection! Try it! Definitely would recommend this product to family and friends and will buy it again.

These capers are great, but when the item arrived, one of the jars (I bought two) didn't have the lid properly closed, and the a lot of the liquid inside had leaked all over the outside of the jar. This also means there is less liquid inside to keep the capers fresh.

These are delicious. A great buy for the money. Sometimes I use them on my baked fish along with other seasonings, but watch the salt because they are salty. I really like them in my pasta salads. Taste great in quinoa salad too.

I enjoy a good caper and these certainly fit the bill. They arrived promptly and I cracked them open for a taste. Much to my delight, they are really flavorful without being too sharp or too acidic/bitter like some capers. The brine is very balanced, not too acidic. It will serve as a seasoning for certain dishes I make, so none of this product will go to waste. I paired the capers with some smoked sardines topped with homemade chili lime mayo on gluten free flatbread. Very tasty. I will buy these again and again.
