Sweet deal for an ever sweeter pair of knee sleeves
I'm 21 years old so I don't really have any joint problems, but after my first leg workout I could easily tell these would help prolong the time it would take for my knees to take a hit in the joint department even with my lifting hobby. My gym is, unfortunately, heavily air conditioned, and I noticed my knees would get stiff between sets due to the fact that it was cold and I tend to workout in gym shorts and a t-shirt. The first 2-3 reps would feel very tight and I would feel a very slight pain in my knees as I got to heavier and heavier weight. This is partially due to a new physically demanding job where I very very frequently squat and pick up objects around 30-50 pounds because I've never had the issue before. However, after these arrived I slipped them on and they were a little tight in my opinion (I ordered one size smaller so it would be sure to fit and not be loose). DON'T BE ALARMED IF IT SEEMS TOO TIGHT. I was actually a little worried but I wore them around the house for a little while and then did one leg workout and they fit extraordinarily comfortable since then on. They do exactly what I needed them to which is keep my knees warm through the entire workout and provide a decent amount of support for my heavier sets so I didn't have lingering knee pain through the next few days and at work. They're nothing like knee sleeves, these are simply for slight support and to help keep your knee joint warm to keep that awesome synovial fluid flowing to help prevent knee pain. They're so comfortable, in fact, that I could wear them around the house if I wanted to and they keep my knees nice and toasty. Awesome purchase, and a much better deal then the Rehband sleeves that come at $40 a sleeve for a total of $80. I've never worn the Rehbands but I can tell you these work wonders as well and will save you $30. I'll definitely be considering Nordic Lifting for more of my athletic equipment purchases.

Excellent for squats if you have knee problems
I've used these once so far, and boy did they help! The only thing I'm concerned about is how long they will last; I've read several reviews saying they tear, crease, or become too loose after some use, so I will update again in a few months (or sooner, if they break before then). Notable Things: 1. My knee circumference is exactly at 13", so I had to choose between the small and the medium. I am a powerlifter, so I ended up opting for the smaller one to reduce the risk of them being too loose, both initially and over time. I'm glad I did, because they fit quite well overall. My only issue is that I have large thighs and calves, so while it fit well around the knee, it was almost too tight at the top and bottom. I had to adjust a few times because it got uncomfortable, but eventually found a tolerable spot. 2. These babies kept my knee super warm the entire time, which is apparently exactly what I needed! I had been having knee problems, and solved it with knee wraps, but they were a hassle to put on/take off all the time. I didn't know if these sleeves would give me the support I needed, because I wasn't sure if it was support or warmth that would solve my problem. I could rep 4x @ 400 lbs on squat with these sleeves (i'm 5'6" 200 lbs) and I didn't have a single knee problem, which means I won't need my wraps unless I'm nearing my 1RM of ~500 lbs (and maybe i won't even need them then if the sleeves are sufficient!). 3. They do get sweaty. Very sweaty. Which makes them tough to take off. But rolling them off and inverting them makes it quite a bit easier, so I don't really have any issues here. All in all, this not only helped my identify what I needed to better execute my squats and prevent knee pain, but they allow me to do my squats without as much spring help as knee wraps. I personally try to use as little equipment as possible to make sure I'm doing all the work, and not the gear. The sleeves don't provide as much support as wraps, which I like, so I feel like i'm not "cheating" as much. The warmth is they key thing here, and with the mild support, I feel like i'm getting as little help as possible with the least risk of injury.

and they all agreed that Nordic Lifting knee sleeves were just as good as Rhebands for half the price
I purchased a pair of these knee sleeves so I would have more support when doing heavy squats. I read a lot of reviews, and talked to some of my PL friends, and they all agreed that Nordic Lifting knee sleeves were just as good as Rhebands for half the price. These knee sleeves feel great while wearing them. They offer great support and warmth for the tendons and ligaments in your knee. My knees are sweating every time I wear them, which is a good thing because you know they are working. I measured my knee just like the photo indicated, by straightening my leg and measuring halfway up the knee (patella). My measurement put me wearing a medium, so that's what I ordered and I'm happy that I did, because they fit snuggly but not so tight that they cut off circulation. If you want some carryover I would order a size down from what your measurement suggests. Also I found that the easiest way to get the knee sleeves off after your workout is to grab the top and roll it down until the sleeve is inside out, from there it will slide off much easier than before, because the inside of the sleeve will be soaked in sweat, making it difficult to get them off without ripping out leg hair. I gave this product 5 stars overall, in style, performance, functionality, comfort and durability. I have noticed that my knees and legs recover faster now that I'm wearing these sleeves. I would recommend this product to anyone that squats heavy or does any kind of lower body workouts.

Meets my needs and then some.
This was going to be a longer review but realized you'll probably only read this because like me you want the honest truth. I'm 192 lbs squatting upwards of 2x bodyweight for the past 3 months daily. I bought these for the main purpose of keeping my knees warm as I've always had a slight creak in my knees in the colder months. In regards to that...my knees stay wonderfully warm. Usually will wear them low on my calf/shins during a cycling warm up but even from just walking from the locker room like that I already feel them warming up my legs. After my squat sessions these are noticeably wet and upon pulling them off I get an immediate sense of my knees getting cooled..so it was keeping a fare amount of heat near my knees. Fit wise I picked up the large as I didn't want any rebound effects from a tighter fit and I measured about 15" at the knee. For those curious where I wear them above the knee measures about 20" and below is about 15" too low and the fit starts feeling uncomfortable on my calves. These do not bunch in the back and stay in place as you workout. Taking them off does seem to be harder when wet so keep that in mind if making adjustments. I usually just take them off inside out so they air dry better anyway. Material and build wise these seem fine for my purposes, I did try out and look at some sport store varieties but these in comparison seemed a bit more flexible and sturdy. After about a week of daily use the only visual issue I have is a torn thread at the seems but nothing that would compromise the integrity of the product. TLDR: Fit great, craftsmanship is fine, if you want to just keep your knees warm I highly recommend these as I have not had nearly as much knee creaking since I started using these.

Support knees completely .
I was so skeptical , got these at good price on prime day. They really protected my knees . I am so grateful for these . I was skeptical about the quality when I compared the cost to the Rehband I am happy with this purchase .

The Best Constructed Knee Compression Sleeves I've Owned
I purchased the Nordic Neoprene Compression Knee Sleeves for running a suburban North Atlanta, GA (Roswell) route with many hills and valleys. I had a meniscus tear repaired in 2012. In addition, sometimes my knees feel a little unstable from many years of playing basketball on New York City playgrounds. Prior to my purchase, I read many of the reviews, and several folks complained of large amounts of sweat on the neoprene sleeves after a good workout. So in addition to purchasing the Nordic Knee Sleeves, I also bought a couple pairs of the 3M Ace Knitted Knee Support ( 3M Ace Knitted Knee Support, Medium ) to wear under the sleeves to soak up most of the moisture. This combination works beautifully [for me]! Once I remove the Nordic sleeves after a run, they have a little bit of surface moisture that is easily wiped away with a towel, but at least 90% or more of the moisture is absorbed by the Ace Knitted Knee Support. My suggestion to the folks at Nordic is to consider designing and manufacturing an absorbent, lightweight, and fitted companion sleeve to wear underneath the Nordic Neoprene Compression Sleeve. If you don't, I will. Regarding the functionality of the Nordic Knee Sleeves, in a word; SUPERB! The circumference of my knee, mid patella, measures 16.5 inches. I chose the Large size for the Nordic Compression Sleeve, and the L/XL size for the Ace Knitted Knee Support. Once I put on the Ace Knitted Knee Support, I roll-up the Nordic Compression Sleeve and pull it up to the bottom of the Ace Knitted Knee Support. Then I unroll the Nordic Compression Sleeve up over the Ace Knitted Knee Support. The result is a tight fit with evenly distributed compression on the knee cap, and above and below the patella. The course I run used to take me 50 minutes to complete, because it was uncomfortable running uphill. Now that I'm wearing the Nordic Neoprene Compression Sleeve, I've reduced that time to 41 minutes in less than a week because I can now run uphill instead of walking; slowly but surely building my stamina. The best part is, my knees are not hurting after I complete a run! Regarding fit and finish, the Nordic Knee Sleeve is very well constructed with a contour that fits above and below my knee perfectly. The neoprene is a thick material with a durable, high quality feel. The stitching is top notch throughout. In addition to the high quality construction of the Nordic Knee Sleeves, the packaging too is first-rate. This product feels like it will last for years, which is sort of depressing because I really want a second pair, but just can't justify it. Which brings me to the price; THE BEST DEAL IN TOWN! If you're in the market for a pair of well designed, well constructed, top quality, reasonably priced knee compression sleeves, then check out the Nordic Knee Sleeves.

Too Small. Product Change
Originally bought in 2017 and I need to replace as one of my knee sleeves has finally met end of life mostly due to using them as shin guards for dead lifts. I purchased the same size, medium. Something has clearly changed with the product because I couldn't get them beyond my calve. In fact, my child who's built like a green bean found them to be snug. My thigh is approximately 20 inches in circumference, a few inches above the knee. I would give 4 stars for proven product performance minus recent sizing issues but Amazon AI order return is AZZZ.

Good product performance, at a reasonable price
My job requires a lot of walking, pulling heavy carts, squatting, etc - Which becomes very difficult on my knees. In looking around for knee sleeves, many came out to around $20-25 dollars for one, and in seeing that these were $50 USD (as opposed to the regular $100 USD), they seemed a good choice. In that they are 7mm thick, and having only been taught the Imperial system, I naturally had to look up that they are a little over a quarter of an inch thick. I ordered them in medium, and they arrived when expected. The sizing for my knee would [barely] put me in large, but I prefer a tighter fit, as it yields more compression. (I measure around the patella at 14.5 inches, where as medium maxes out at 14.2 inches) Pros: 1. I find they help significantly with the pain and discomfort in my knees - even when compared to other compression sleeves. 2. They are thick, and the neoprene helps significantly with compression, while I am still able to have my full range of motion. (Although it does start to get slightly resistant if doing deep squats) 3. While I have not done any weightlifting specifically in these, the problems that would arise from squats or deadlifts (strain on the knees & joints) are similar, and I can imagine that they would do very well in providing knee support for heavy lifting. 4. I find that they provide compression and do well even for running, helping my knees absorb some of the shock. Cons: 1. They aren't breathable - But they were never advertised as being breathable, making that something I would have liked, but wouldn't get with these. While where it is covered will get sweaty, it doesn't slip or slide. it can slightly get bunched up, but that is after a few hours, and is very easily re-adjusted. 2. Where the connective end circles around [at the top and bottom of the sleeve] leaves some red indentation marks, and can be slightly discomforting - However this is only noticeable for me after taking them off. They do not cause discomfort while worn. This may be due to the fact that I am [barely] a large fit, but ordered mediums. Whether or not I will contact Nordic Lifting and see about getting the mediums switched for a large, I do not know as of now. On one hand, it could provide a better fit and remove this con - but it will be significantly difficult on my knees if I am without them for a while (I had a handful of sprained/twisted knees, ankles, etc and never got any help when I did. Don't be like me. Be smart.) Neither pro nor con: They are [0.27 inches] thick, which may or may not be a problem for you. I wear Battle Dress Uniform [pants] at my job, and so the thickness is not a concern for me, however if you wear something like sweatpants, and you don't like them showing, then this will be an issue for you - but is not for me.

Great support for weight lifters
I recently bought a pair of Nordic Lifting elbow sleeves and also knee sleeves to help with my weight lifting. I'm following the 5 x 5 Stronglift program which requires heavy lifting 3 times a week including exercises such as dead lifts, squats, bench press and military press etc. After several weeks of this program I was starting to get soreness in my elbows and after watching a few youtube videos of professional lifters I decided to invest in some protection. I considered cheaper products but decided to pay a bit extra in the hope of getting a good quality product that would last. I was not disappointed. The Nordic sleeves are of exceptional quality, great fit as per the size guide and a very comfortable fit. They provide a good amount of support and keep your elbows and knees warm during the workout which is helpful to prevent injury. They are very easy to slip on and off which is a major advantage over wraps. I'm glad I bought these and would recommend to anyone for weight lifting or other sports requiring joint support. Nordic contacted me soon after my purchase just to check I had received them and was happy with them, seems like good customer service.
