Camera Microphone, Video Microphone for Dslr Interview Videomic Shotgun Microphones for Canon Nikon Sony Panasonic Fuji

This mic can be used on any coldshoe mount, fitted to most cameras. Unlike most other cheap microphones I've owned in the past, this uses an AAA battery for power making it much easier to replace and allows for a longer runtime than the tiny batteries most other products use. The addition of a deadcat along with the standard cover was an additional bonus as it will allow the microphone to be used in situations with greater wind. The power switch is located on the side along with a handy led indicator to display the power status (both on/off and battery life) - the gain can also be adjusted to two set levels using this switch. The audio quality produced is very reasonable, especially for the low price. The microphone seems to be quite directional (as expected) so doesn't pick up vast amounts of background noise if using it in an interview style situation. Overall, highly recommended.

Tried ot out and all works as should. Volumes vary in what Db setting you have it on. Comes with show mount so fits all those and plugs straight in. Picture of it on my rig. Comes with interchangeable foam or fur filters and battery included.

The Instruction booklet is way too tiny had to scan it in to enlarge it ! It feels a bit of a fragile construction. Very fiddly to get it to work on my Canon 750D. Had to go to the camera settings for a microphone and make the volume manual, adjusting the level after testing to get the right level. good stereo Separation with no hiss.

Not bad, was what we needed when first setup but when going mobile, wasn’t as effective as hoped and reolaced with a rode mic.

I only ever give 1 star, 3 star or 5 star. In the case of sending a product back, i always give a 1 star im afraid. The product works, so no problem there. However its only slightly different than the internal mic on my canon dslr 200d and it is hard to tell that it is. Better maybe is the tone of my voice has less bass but far far worse is the background hiss. None from my internal mic but plenty from this external plug in one. No good im afraid, i have sent it back and i need to spend more money 🙄

I bought this mic to replace another mic which used a small fiddly button battery. This mic uses an AAA battery which lasts much longer and is easier to handle. I attach the mic to my camcorder when filming soccer which overrides the camcorder's built-in mic and allows me to kill wind noise with the included furry mic cover. The sound picked up with this mic is very good and even picks up the sounds of the ball being kicked or headed at 75 metres distance. I would buy this mic again and I thoroughly recommend it as an entry-level mic.

This is a nice, effective microphone for my dslr. Tried it out on Sunday and very pleased with the result so far. Good price for what I need but perhaps a bit plasticky for heavy useage. Came with two wind covers, foam and woolly. Very happy with it.

Brought this for my YouTube channel work I started during lockdown. Picks up wildlife lovely. No major hiss I noticed. Yes it does feel cheap and cheerful. But at that price I didnt expect any different tbh. I'm more interest in the sound quality and I'm very pleased with it. The plus setting for the sound isn't great but the normal option is good. I use AAA enloope batteries in it and they last very long indeed. Very happy at the moment.

Poor quality. There's a loud hiss in the audio that makes it unusable, and the rest of the sound—what little can be heard—is no better than what my camera's internal mic produces.

Besteld om te gebruiken met een Panasonic DMC-FZ300 foto-videocamera. Blijkt NIET compatibel te zijn. De microfoon wordt niet herkend door de camera. Jammer want ziet er een degelijk en kompleet toestel uit werd geleverd met foam en pluchen windscherm.
