It's a fine milled scrub, which means you don't feel like you're removing the top layer of skin when you use it, as it's fine milled it also and this bit is important, isn't painful to use. I bought these to get rid of those black dots you get on your nose which I have always assumed were blackheads... it did nothing and my nose looks exactly the same after using the whole bottle BUT on the plus side my face is now a lot smoother... not in the sense it got rid of my spots, it actually gave me quite a few.. but in the sense of I think it burnt a layer of my skin off so now it feels super smooth (after moisturing) 🤣🤣🤣
