Just used some to put grips on a bunch of clubs. Worked fine.

not a golfer but in the watch world this stuff is highly recommended to remove diver bezel inserts from watches by turning the watch upside down and soaking the watch up to where the bezel meets the watch in a small cup. it's supposed to melt the adhesive holding the bezel insert into the bezel without needing to remove the entire bezel and scratch up your watch. let me say this stuff works perfectly for that, for anyone trying to remove a bezel insert that's put in with adhesive. haven't tried it for inserts put in with double sided tape, but assume it would dissolve that adhesive on both sides of the tape, also allowing ez removal. for those who don't know, removing bezel inserts is a bane of those of us in the watch world. this stuff is a miracle. it's recommended by Marc, owner of Longislandwatch. great recommend Marc!
