We’ve had this over five years now. It still works and remains in very good condition. We use it for hot chocolate and frothing milk. The hot chocolate is an absolute treat and very decadent. This is also made the perfect gift on special birthdays. With a large selection of colours you will find the perfect match. Paired with Hotel Chocolate hot chocolates and you’ve got a new addiction!

Brought this for a Christmas present for my wife. She absolutely adores it. So easy to use, just add milk up to the white line inside, add chocolate to taste, seal the lid and press the button and relax. Does all the work for you, blends heats and smoothes the mix to a perfect velvet cup of hot chocolate. Easy to clean too, non stick coating inside, so just swill it out with water and then literally a quick effortless wipe around inside for two seconds with a kitchen towel or wipe and it's clean and blemish free, really easy. Only downside is the chocolate to buy from hotel Chocolat is expensive £21 for 3 pouches with 7 cups max from each pouch. You can use cadburys or aero powdered chocolate, £3 average a tin, where you can get around 9-10 cups or so from this, but hotel Chocolat ones are nicer as made from pure chocolate flakes, but cadburys drinking chocolate tastes the next best it really is so nice. My wife is an NHS nurse and comes home stressed most days working through the pandemic, but she loves coming home to this and making herself a hot chocolate after a hard stressful shift. I love it too, when I can get to use it as my wife always is, so that's a good thing as shows how nice the drinks are. You won't be disappointed trust me, no hassle and blends it so well you get no bits at bottom of the nice porcelain mugs you get with it too.

Bought this in deepest darkest second lockdown or something along these lines. It had been a while since I had bought a hot chocolate from the Hotel Chocolate bricks and mortar shop (close to the office), and my thinking up to that point had been, no way am I spending around £100 on a dedicated hot chocolate kettle when a pan and whisk will almost do the same job. But then I gave in and yeah it does a way better job than pan and whisk. Easy to clean (so long as you do it pretty soon after), smooth texture, perfect temperature, fast results. The only problem is that if you are wanting to make hot chocolate for .. lets say 3 people you have to do it one serving at a time, and that means the first person will either have no hot chocolate or almost completely cool chocolate by the time the last person is able to drink theirs. The instructions say that you can use whatever milk you want or even spring water. So you can use almond milk with the hazelnut sachet if you want something a bit nuts, or you can use bottled water and 70% cocoa if despite buying this gadget you are adverse to feeling joy. There is also a min and max fill line. I assume the min fill line is for if you want the rest of the drink to be coffee, that's how I used it but I don't recall it being said in instructions. Ultimately this gadget didn't get used twice then tidied into a cupboard and mostly forgotten about like certain other kitchen gadgets. I have actually used it almost as much as the toaster since I got it, but I don't buy that much bread. I do still kind of feel like it is an expensive single use gadget, but it is a treat and remains a treat.

Omg , bought this for granddaughter who LOVES chocolates ,and hot chocolate is the ultimate treat , bought the grey option as the black and rose gold I couldn’t justify the extra. Money ( it looks fab ) came with the beautiful cups and although people say there small in my opinion they are perfect , also the. Mixed box of sachets ,,,,,,, firstly it so so easy to use even I did it without any technical help from my husband !!! And WOW is this the best hot chocolate you will ever drink ? Yes it is . Yes like many reviews it is an expensive gadget but …… you get what you pay for and this is definitely worth the money We tryed the salted Caramel I have literally never tasted anything so smooth and utterly perfect for a hot chocolate , her brother had the white chocolate with vanilla ( I think ) again totally amazing . A total bonus is the magazine you get with it , it just doesn’t make hot chocolate it’s also great for iced coffee and so much more . So lots of interesting information on how to get maximum use of this . I would 100% recommend this product. Thanks for reading this I have one last thing to write . I don’t like chocolate or sugar and never have , this was so so good I’m seriously considering buying one for me !! Only criticism is I bought it just before the heat wave !!!!

Love love love this machine. Looks sleek and gorgeous. It’s permanently out in my kitchen. Makes the most wonderful hot chocolate. Which I never liked till I tried this, then had to buy one. Bought all the family members one. So nice on a cold winters day, perfect drinking temperature so you can drink one and have second on the go! Light and frothy. My husband liked his coffee done in it as it uses a gentle magnetic whisk so you get a nice frothy drink but not too much froth.get one now!

I wasn’t sure about this frother as it was expensive and I wasn’t sure if it would be worth it. However it has saved me money and I haven’t been to a coffee shop as I can make a better quality coffee with this machine. When it is made it is ready to drink so not too hot, Definitely worth the money and has such a velvety feel to the drink- I use lactose free milk and it is still frothy, when the children make it with their full fat milk it is extra luxurious and they love it.

Makes lovely hot chocolate, just a shame the chocolate is so expensive.. but its definitely worth it as a treat on these cold nights.. knocked a star as chocolate is so expensive🙈

Best hot chocolate ever , easy to use and looks smart too.

This is totally an indulgence item but it delivers! Easy to put in the ingredients and the result is a fabulous hot chocolate that will make anything else seem ‘whatever’. Easy to clean as well because it comes apart with no issues.

A bit pricey but it is easy to use and clean up and provides a delicious hot satisfying drink!

It makes the best hot chocolate! Im so glad I purchased this.
