I am no newbie in sampling different shaving creams and shaving products. Although my number one cream is Truefitt & Hill 1805 Shave Cream Jar , this cream is my second favorite. Waking up to this subtly spicy yet somewhat sweet smell makes you feel really manly. Truefitt & Hill makes some classy products. This is for the man who knows where he's been but more importantly knows where he is going. The lather is very creamy and you probably won't need a pre-shave oil with this, although I still use Truefitt & Hill Ultimate Comfort Pre-Shave Oil, 2 oz. . Do yourself a favor and hit a home run. Buy the aftershave balm: Truefitt & Hill Grafton Aftershave Balm . I swear the smell of Grafton calms me because it is so soothing. It's not overly strong as Truefitt & Hill state that Grafton is one of their lightest fragrances on the market. There's nothing left to say except buy this cream - you won't be disappointed. If you've never tried a Truefitt & Hill product, just know that this is far superior than The Art of Shaving, Jack Black, Taylor's of Old Bond Street, and L'Occitane. This is the Ferrari of creams my friend. If you're wondering what razor and blade I use, I use: Edwin Jagger De89bl Double Edge Safety Razor Chrome Plated and 10 Feather Razor Blades NEW Hi-stainless Double Edge . Just be real careful with the Feather blades. It is made out of surgical steel as the company who makes these blades is a Japanese surgery blade maker. This is hospital grade stuff. Be Well. Truefitt & Hill is a venerable British shave cream from a country that knows how to make great shave creams. In order to render an accurate opinion, I need to compare it to another British cream, as, for example, the Trumper line of creams. With T & H, a little goes a long way, balancing out in part its greater expense. While Trumper costs less, it requires more cream to whip up a nice lather. The T & H scent is very mild as is the Trumper and disappears almost immediately after shaving. T & H is silky smooth in its application. Trumper is thicker, more like an American cream. There are very few creams that rival T & H in its rich, luxurious feel on your face. Perhaps the one that most comes to mind is not British but Portuguese, Musgo Real. While some may like the thicker cream of Trumper, it is impossible to beat Truefitt and Hill as the monarch of British creams.

Excellent, top tier British quality. A pea sized amount can do my whole face. Love the lime smell. Very smooth and great glide.

...I really wish there was more of it. I have sensitive skin but never had a problem with this, the scent is very sophisticated and pleasant, and it travels fine. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because it's expensive, though I felt like I didn't get enough for the money. But otherwise, awesome.

I’m very impressed by the quality and scent of this brand as a whole. This shaving cream works really well and lathers up very quickly. It doesn’t take much to get a good amount going and in my opinion is worth the price.

I have a heavy 5:00 o'clock shadow, prefer a shaved head and have sensitive skin. This is superior shaving cream and the best I've ever used. In addition to Truefitt & Hill Ultimate Comfort Shave Cream (6 oz jar, unscented) I use a Schick Quattro razor, a stainless steel soap bowl, a Mason Pearson pure badger shaving brush, Truefitt & Hill Ultimate Comfort Pre-Shave Oil (or Clarins Shave Ease Oil), Van Der Hagen hypo allergenic shave soap and Neutrogena Post Shave Lotion. I shave every day per my business meeting requirements but often don't shave for two or three days when completing project assignments and/or don't have meetings. Because of how often I shave and the cost of the Truefitt & Hill shave cream, I use the shave cream with Van Der Hagen shave soap. A small dab of Truefitt & Hill shave cream mixed in with the Van Der Hagen shave soap lather is absolutely perfect for my shaving requirements. I've used the Truefitt & Hill shave cream by itself to see how good it truly is. It's exemplary but expensive for daily use. If I could afford to use the shave cream by itself, I would. It's that good. I've been using Truefitt & Hill shave cream in my shaving regimen for almost two years and I'm completely satisfied. The results are an extremely close shave with no nicks, cuts and very minimal razor burn. An outstanding product, highly recommended! Bravo!

Trufitt and Hill Sandalwood Shaving Cream builds to an exceptional lather and is extremely slick and smooth while shaving. Most notable is that it takes very little from the tube to create more than enough lather for a three pass shave. The sandal wood scent is subtle and not overpowering. This is my go-to shaving cream from now on.

I was shocked by how Intensive and strong the fragrance of Truefitt & Hill 1805 is. At first you are met with a sandalwood, cedarwood and musk scent but gradually pick up notes of citrus and cardamon. This cream lathers up beautifully. It is slick, rich and very moisturizing. You get a great shave as the blade just glides, no nicks, no drag or burn. I found that the fragrance of this 1805 shaving cream, Does Not dissolve as much as others but lasted for several hours.

Expensive but very good quality and nice fragrance. A little goes a long way.

Truefitt & Hill Trafalgar shaving cream is very bold and strong scented. There are strong notes of cedar and sandalwood with jasmine and spices. I love this fragrance over the 1805, A pea sized amount gives a rich thick lather, which moisturizes wonderfully. Provides a great shave, no nicks, cuts, drag or razor burn. I found that the Trafalgar fragrance lasted many hours, much to my enjoyment. I used a Edwin Jagger DE89L razor, with Feather Hi Stainless Platinum Razor Blades.

estoy usando esta crema y la sandalwood.. como que es mas pesada.. para barba mas tupida.. no se dispersa con facilidad.. pero es de buena calidad.. yo me quedo con la sandalwood, y a mitad de precio
