Very sharp and effective with pruning trees. Very good for performing vasectomies too!! It was quick easy and painless! Well made comfortable in the hand.

These shears are excellent! They are super sharp and cut through everything effortlessly. They make clean, precise cuts and feel solid in hand. That said, they are no joke sharp… I actually nicked my hand pretty badly, so definitely use with caution and maybe keep a blade cover on when not in use. If you want professional level pruning shears that perform beautifully, these are it…just respect the blade!

Nice pruning shears (at a price much less than similar ones I've previously purchased). Good quality, sharp blades, and an appropriate cutting size for most everyday tasks. The handle grips are spaced fairly wide, so are suitable for most folks but might be a bit too wide for very small hands.

The first thing I pruned were the spent fruiting canes off of my thornless blackberries. Easy say could be, but cut my fingers about 3 times accidentally. Like I said, they have razor sharp edges, so be extra careful. Next I pruned off summer’s growth and seed heads from some shrubby plants, and roses. Clippity do dah! The handles are not so far apart that I cannot handle them with my small hands, and my arthritic thumbs and wrists appreciate the ease of squeezing and clipping, plus they are not heavy in the hand like my other clippers, that have rusted easily. One negative thing is that the safety closure doesn’t hold, and allows the handles to pop open when not desired. All in all, I’m very pleased with the purchase, especially since I have tested and tried numerous other name brand, and expensive, clippers. The price is great for a well performing clipper.

Well made, comfortable grip and very rugged. Put them through an aggressive two day task of removing a very large wild rose. Had no problems cutting roots that were still buried. Never jammed, even when it was twisted aggressively. Several cuts included using both hands an it never gave up. Latch always worked in both positions and didn’t care how much dirt was in it. Very positive latch and unlatch design.

They have a nice weight to them they aren't super lightweight, but that actually makes them feel like they are made of good quality material and not just cheap plastic. I tried them on some dry branches and the cutting accuracy is great; they went through the hard wood much easier than I expected. A big plus is that they include a spare spring in the box, which is awesome because those always seem to pop off and get lost in the yard eventually. So far, they feel solid, comfortable, and they definitely get the job done without jamming. For the price, these are a total steal considering the quality and the extra parts you get.

Best prunes I ever had. All metal. Very sharp steel blades, all steel thumb operated lock, lightweight aluminum handles painted with red friction textured plastic for a superb ergonomic grasp.

Die Schere passt richtig gut in meine rechte Hand (Größe 10) und macht echt Spaß bei der Arbeit. Verblüfft war ich, weil ich etwas gezweifelt hatte, ich dachte, a) hoffentlich ist endlich mal die 27zigste Schere brauchbar und b) man kommt an den Teilen aus der Schweiz eh nicht drumherum?? Ergebnis = c) Es geht immer etwas besser! Sogar auch viel besser. Was ist denn besser? Zum einen, dass die Schere gut in der Hand liegt und das andere, die Griffe haben bei Schnittende einen größeren parallelen Abstand zu einander, hier ~ 5cm. Meist sind es etwa 3 cm und die ermüden schneller, die Hand muss sich weiter schließen. Mit 5 cm Abstand zieht der Schnitt leicht und sauber durch, die Schnittkraft nimmt gefühlt beim Schließen der Hand ab, anstatt man wie so oft Nachdrücken muss um einen Schnitt zu beenden, das Nachdrücken ist halt einfach anstrengend. Was fehlt der Schere zum völligen perfekt sein? Der Riegelbolzen könnte etwas satter gefedert sein, damit die Schere dauerhaft geschlossen bleibt. Damit stehts immer eine Schere funktionsfähig und griffbereit ist, hab ich gleich nochmal ein paar Astscheren geordert.
