Great Tool
I purchased this item to assist me in making my own data cable for my 3D printer. I was buying the replacement cable from the manufacturer and had to wait for it to arrive. After purchasing this tool along with the wire and connector ends, I can make many cables without having to wait and at a much lower cost than trying to find the pre-made cable. This tool is very easy to use and works exactly as described. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs to create their own computer type connector cables.

It's cheap and it works.
I ruined many connectors until I got the hang of this tool. It's a pain to get everything in place so the crimp turns out correct but, it's a low cost tool and does a great job for the price. Crimps just fine once you get the feel for it.

Fix my 3d printer
I have a biqu b1 se plus printer, it has a connection issue with the ribbon cable. I contacted their tech support, when I never got a response. I purchased these connectors. Made the repair a breeze, and now no connection problems now. I'm very happy.

Why didn't I find this years ago? I've always used pliers or a vice to compress this type of fitting onto ribbon cables and it's always been a pain. Pliers can damage the connector. A vice is large and cumbersome. But this tool is perfect. Simple and easy to use. Comes with a nice assortment of connectors too.
