The GLS Audio G-Shell G45 is a 100-foot Cat6 Ethernet cable engineered for professional audio and digital networking. ## Description

We are pleased to announce the new GLS Audio G-Shell G45 Cat6 digital network snake cables. They are 100% compatible with the Neutrik Ethercon RJ45 connectors and jacks. You'll notice the G-Shell G45 connector shell can be easily removed from the RJ45 plug. This is done with a simple twist of the shell. No more cutting the Ethercon end off when you need a normal RJ45 plug. The G-Shell G45 has you covered! The ground has been lifted at one end to prevent unwanted noise and hum (required by some electronics which don't support a common ground). The GLS Audio G-Shell cables are designed with touring in mind. They are heavy duty with internal OFC "Twisted Pitch Controlled Spacing". The TPCS design will keep your cables working perfect with no data loss. As you are probably aware, standard Cat5e and Cat6 cable is not designed to be connected and unconnected over and over. Standard Cat5e and Cat6 will break down internally and stop working. The GLS Audio G-Shell cables with TPCS have solved this problem. Review: 6 out of 5 STARS - In my initial review, I had mentioned that this cable was designed and manufactured with quality in mind. It is a very robust shielded Cat6 Ethercon cable that deserves to be rated highly! ....... But I absolutely NEED to revise this review after receiving unparalleled customer service directly from GLS Audio. Here is why...... This 200' GLS Audio Cat6 Ethercon cable was purchased early Nov 2022. While on a gig in late Mar 2023, this cable received some damage (the end was accidentally knocked off), so I reached out to GLS directly and explained what had happened, asked about their warranty policy and provided my desertcart receipt in the same email. I was in shock that I received a response within the hour and was very happily surprised to see my claim escalated immediately!! Within 4 hours I received a notice from the 3rd customer support specialist, indicating that my cable replacement claim was approved and that I should receive it 4 days later ..... after I was initially told that this 200' cable was out of stock and may take about a week ... no biggies. HOWEVER, my replacement cable arrived here the DAY AFTER my contact with GLS Audio support staff!!! OMG! Be still my heart!! ❤️ Normally, I do not spend much time writing details in this area of a review unless it is due to extremely poor quality and/or customer service, but GLS Audio gets my full attention and appreciation here .... which I feel truly deserves 6 STARS out of 5!!!! Here is my email to their support staff ... I think that says everything!! These days it's extremely rare to get such great customer support ...... "I can not express to you how truly happy AND grateful I am for your TOP NOTCH customer service!! These days, in my experience as an independent entrepreneur, it is extremely rare …. if not impossible ….. to find customer care at a caliber even CLOSE to what you have provided to me! I have been providing pro audio services for over 30 years now so I can personally attest to this fact! I have a lot of colleagues, associates and partnerships in my line of work, so I will be very happy to pass along my experience with GLS Audio. Review: Great product - these did not end up working out for my needs due to a product issue with the RJ45 conversion end. I ended up returning the cables because the cap does come off in the right spot to be able to click into my device and establish a locked and secure connection, and it kept falling out - I would have had to modify the end of the cable shield, and it wasn't worth it in my opinion. but in the short time I had the cables, I was very impressed with the overall build design and how rough and tough they are made. they seem indestructible, so I was quite disappointed when I was unable to use them. but because of no fault to them, I will still give them five stars on the quality of the cable alone.

In my initial review, I had mentioned that this cable was designed and manufactured with quality in mind. It is a very robust shielded Cat6 Ethercon cable that deserves to be rated highly! ....... But I absolutely NEED to revise this review after receiving unparalleled customer service directly from GLS Audio. Here is why...... these did not end up working out for my needs due to a product issue with the RJ45 conversion end. I do live sound and run these to my stage boxes. I use Allen Heath SQ, dLive, Behringer x32, Soundcraft Si/Vi and these cables work great on all of them.
