Excellent quality Venetian Plaster. Easy to mix with a drill mixer. Color was consistent through out. There were just a couple of dried pieces of plaster in a white color. Easy enough to remove and causing no damage to the overall finish. Unlike other Venetian plasters Ive used in the past, this product is very easy to get to the very high gloss finish many of my clients want.

I have used Venetian plaster in several homes and I love the the marble look. This one had a different way to burnish (polish) it. I watched videos on the technique others used and it worked well.

This product is great, ships quickly (and free!), and does what it's designed to do and does that well. BUT, it's not a product for very beginner DIYers. When you work with this product, there are a lot of good practices associated with getting the right results - especially if you want that gorgeous mirror finish. This product takes at minimum patience and practice, practice, practice. That said, I used this to tackle my hallway, which is a mix of drywall and plaster. I had the company color match it to Sherwin Williams Tricorn Black; the bucket it comes in is shipped very securely, so no worries about it exploding or leaking. It sat unused until I was secure that I got as much application information from the company, plus hitting up YT for this specific product (there are a lot of videos on plaster application, some with conflicting information, which is why you'll need practice to find your groove). I had used similar products before but burnishing was new to me, and timing on that is critical. I even made notes that I reviewed often. Don't forget to also buy the primer, it's a must. The company also recommends a wax sealant to keep stains at bay. If you have tall ceilings, I would recommend using scaffolding over a ladder during application. Don't skimp on the trowels and add a mud mixer to your shopping cart, the product needs to be fluffed up and mixed prior to each round.

Wow! Incredible stuff! Went on super easy and was very easy to work with. Long working time too. I’ll only use this brand from now on and my wall looks like a millions dollars now!

Really enjoyed using this product. I took on a commercial project that gave me some design freedom and I’ve always loved Venetian plaster. I was worried how a black Venetian might look, but when it all came together, I was quite pleased to see the how it did. My client opted for a more matte finish, so we aren’t doing a ton of burnishing/polish to this, but I’m sure that would look cool too. I will say, based on the measurements provided for coverage, you really don’t need as much as you might think. I bought a 5 gallon bucket and used just under half of it. But with my calculations on how many coats I was going for, this was all I needed. 3 coats and boom. I’m not mad at what I have leftover, I’ll definitely find good use for it. Also, I would recommend mixing this with a mixer and a drill when you use it, the texture is much easier and consistent to work with after. Can’t wait to try other colors and other spaces. I’m in love.

Need a sign on the box saying this side up. Need a better seal system around lid to bucket. The plastic wrap does help. But Need to figure something else out. It's a wonderful product. But. I'd try to figure something else out.

Beautiful and easy to use product. My fireplace wall turned out amazing.
