Good Value for the Price
I used this oil extractor to remove excess transmission fluid, and it worked exactly as needed. It’s a simple tool—nothing fancy—but very effective. It helped me get the fluid level back on the line without making a mess. The quality is decent for the price. Don’t expect top-tier materials or powerful suction, but for small jobs like transmission or engine oil adjustments, or to change the motor oil, it’s more than enough. A good budget-friendly tool to have around the garage.

Great little pump - If you're patient - and understand the limitations... It works great!
Overfilled my Oil Capacity by 16oz. - and I did not want to lift the car again (Porsche 928S). I used this to small pump to "pull back" the 1/2 quart. Pulled Dipstick - inserted small tube, bottomed it out. Pumped the Oil back into an oil container - worked like magic. Drawbacks: It took 20 minutes from start to finish. If you can deal with a slow pump - then this is Golden. Pros: You can use it to pump oil "into" the transaxle as well.

Inexpensive Worked for automatic transmission fluid
Worked great for the warm ATF extraction from my RAM. I would have liked to have the suction hose about 2 feet longer. It took nearly the entire length of the tube to get down the dipstick tube. I had to use a bungee cord to hold the pump in place due to the tube length. It was noisy, the fluid came out with bubbles. It took about 5 minutes to suck out one gallon of AFT. The good news is that I won't be spilling that gallon of ATF on my garage floor when I drop the pan to change the filter. The power cables were stretched to the max to get from the dipstick tube across the engine to the battery. Like someone else commented - get over that it is a cheap unit - it did the job for me!

Don't buy this.
This is advertised as an easy way to change oil in a boat motor...or any automotive application. Don't buy this! The hoses kink. So you spend all kinds of time on your hands and knees trying to get all the hoses perfectly positioned, then you turn it on and vibration causes the motor to slip off the spot. So you pretty much have to sit there and hold it for the whole time or tape the bejeebers out of it so nothing slips or kinks. You cannot set this by your motor, pop the hoses in and turn it on. Won't happen. And then....it doesn't suck motor oil well. As in after all that careful positioning and making sure the intake is perfectly position hoses not crimped and not sucking the bottom of the oil pan....it doesn't work. Not even close to working. Even after carefully adjusting all.....doesn't work. Don't waste your time.

Worked Surprisingly Well!
I was a little skeptical, giving the price, plus the inlet had some extra metal from the machining process hanging over. However, this worked amazingly great for what I needed. The transmission ““ specialist “overfilled my transmission with over a quart of fluid. No way I was taking it back to them to remedy this. so the hose went down the dipstick tube and easy Peezy, attach the clamps to the 12 V battery turn it on, the fluid sucked right out into an empty jug. Now my transmission has the proper amount of fluid in it. I can only state that this did all of the work, all I did was hook it up and turn it on. The video shows how well it operates. This would work well in the transmission as I have used as well as an oil pan if you need to change the oil and go this route. A+ for it utilitarian usage. Arrived in a day by the way.

Solid build, works great
Works great. Used this extractor pump to remove oil from 2 marine Chevy engines (350 v8). Not sure why, but one engine only took 15 minutes to remove the oil and the second engine was about 25 minutes. Recommend you straighten out as much as possible, the stiff tube that goes into the dip stick pipe. I think what happens is the end of the pickup tube, if not straightened out, will tend to curl up a bit when you get it to the oil pan. When this happens, it could miss some oil in the pan. Would like to see the 12v cord about a foot to 18" longer.

Works but not to published specifications
Used for oil change on antique marine engine. Gets the job done but not at the liter/minute advertised.. Hoses were coiled and fastened so tight that they were not usable until warmed up significantly to remove kinks. Pump did require priming before first use. Seller said instructions for priming were on video, but I could not find same. Try using the larger of the pickup tubes if possible. When I first used the smaller one, the volume pumped was minimal. Will hopefully be a useful long-term tool.

Sucks oil great
I used this little pump to suck out the oil and coolant that leaked out into the intake valley on a 2016 Cherokke when chaning the oil cooler. When the seals fail on the oil cooler, it starts to leak oil and the oil fills up all the little cavities on the top of the engine. Coolant leaks out too when you remove the cooler. Quite a messy job, but this little pump helped suck up all the fluids and get the engine cleaned up quick. I also have a boat that I plan on using this pump for oil changes too. Make sure you don't run this pump dry. It sounds like others have had problems. I read their reviews and didn't want to damage the pump so I primed it with a little oil before I started to use it so it was lubricated right away. It's probably wise to plan on adding a few drops of oil into the pump right before using it every time you need it if you want it to last a long time.

Wenn man auf der Saugseite die gleiche Dimension nimmt wie auf der Druckseite funktioniert die Pumpe perfekt.

Bought this pump despite some negative reviews, works really well and such a bargain. Used on a Smart fortwo 451 engine oil change and did the whole job in under an hour. Syphon tube is non-collapsible (which is great) and the pump ports fitted perfectly. Used just one of the pipe clips on the input pipe to reduce sucking in air. Gets slightly warm in use. I pre-bled the system using oil first before entering the pipe into the dipstick port. This was a good move and the whole system easily burst into life sucking out the old engine oil. Nicely designed and good length on pipes for my use. Buy with confidence while they are still available.

Just used for the forst time. All seems to be good. Cabled just a little sort. And pump it selt very slippery and difficult to secure. So easy to make mess when you are in use. And after use think where and how you going to be storing pum and the hoses. Cuz lets say i just uses for engine oil and original carton box is useless to stop drops of oil. After all does the job not a fasttest tink but after is set up you don't have to do anything just wait. So have beer and relax. 6.5 litres sucked out in aprox 5min. Oil was warm 😉

Great little pump, I do my own oil changes between services, perfect for SDV6 XJ drain through the dipstick tube, pipes fit exactly and empties the sump in say 5 minutes..
