This has been a great seal and much better than that cheap crap the auto parts stores stock.

I needed a new seal to swap my camper from my old Jeep to the new one and this did exactly what I needed it to.

Great product, but 5’ shorter that what i got years ago

I had to use some blue painters tape to hold it in place while positioning it. Then pull the blue tape off right before setting the topper down on the bed of the truck. The seal itself is awesome. No leaks.

I ordered this after going to 3 different auto supply stores where I found only light-weight foam seals. From my experience that style of seal falls apart after a few times of taking the truck cap on/off. This product is great. It's similar to the one I was replacing on my 20+ year old Leer fiberglass truck bed topper. Instructions call for starting with a clean surface which is next to impossible in my case because the old seal did not peel off cleanly. I hit the topper surface with a razor blade/knife and acetone and then installed the new seal which seems to stick well and has been weather-tight. It also easily releases from the truck bed when I remove the topper. This product is worth the few extra bucks compared to the cheap foam seals, unless you never remove your truck bed topper, in which case the cheap seals might work.

We really needed our pick up truck bed to be absolutely dry for our 4000+ mile journey across Canada because we would be sleeping in it most of the time and the seal kept the bed dry. Followed the instructions and the install was easy. Delighted!

Doesn't stick too well but then once you have it on it doesn't matter unless you take off your truck cab frequently. But it's thick and helps seal good.

This seal kit from Extruded Solutions Inc. (ESI) is expensive so I left it in the original packaging for protection until ready to install. Upon opening, the seal material is severely deformed and has numerous cuts where it was dragged across a sharp corner before packaging at ESI. The deformation is permanent; laying it out lengthwise at room temperature did not return it to the correct profile. This indicates it was deformed when manufactured and sold anyway. I have purchased 4 seal kits from ERI (over $100 worth). I am a licensed aircraft mechanic and very meticulous with installations. I checked my ERI seals already in service (tailgate, less than 1 year) and they are not holding up well. The adhesive is substandard and has released causing twisting and permanent deformation. "Automotive grade EPDM rubber" has good memory, ERI rubber does not. The 12 year old OEM seals on my 2013 F150 are in better condition. Sadly, I was anticipating good products from ESI and would consider them a repeat supplier. The advertising from ERI is good, and misleading. Please don't advertise "USA made, automotive grade EPDM rubber" and send out an inferior product packaged by uncaring employees with no apparent oversight. I purchase engineering products daily at my job. China has surpassed the USA with superior products and customer service. Wake up America and stop embarrassing us! If someone knows where to get some good Chinese automotive seals, please advise.
