Review: Great for Ghirardelli Sauces - This pump works great with the Ghirardelli sauces! We have the caramel sauce. I read the other reviews but decided to purchase anyway, rather than try to find another pump. I am glad I did. I got the sauce (90oz) directly from Ghirardelli. This pump does not go all the way to the bottom, but I believe this is meant for the 64oz containers. Some reviews mentioned about the pump curving at the bottom. The one I got does not. It is a straight, solid pump. It comes apart for cleaning. I usually just run the Keurig with hot water and pump the hot water through it to clean out the syrup. The the rest of the cleaning is easy. When not in use, I usually just put saran wrap around the tip to keep the pump from drying up. I have not had any issues. I have used it quite frequently for the last 6 months. Last weekend, we used it at a festival and went through 2 1/2 containers (90oz) using the one pump. So it has handled heavy, repeated use. I ordered another one just as a backup...to make it easier to switch to new jug without the delay.

**Q: Is this pump actually gold and blue or is it white and blue?**
A: Gold and blue

**Q: does this pump include the clear plastic extension tube to reach the bottom of sauce container?**
A: yes, but I did not like the pump.  It crystalizes in the tube, so I just get a smaller bottle that squeezes the sauce out and that works better for me for home use.  For a business it would be better.

**Q: Does this work for the 90oz bottles?**
A: Yes it works for the 90 oz. bottles. I used it for the 89.4 oz. Ghirardelli bottle.

**Q: is there a cap to cover the end of the tube when not in use?**
A: no cap

Cheap plastic pump. Periodic cleaning of pump is necessary to prevent chocolate build up. Even with regular cleaning, pump failed after 5 months with very light usage of no more than one pump per day. I used it to add chocolate to my morning coffee. The check valve in the end of the spout failed (fell out, not replaceable), and pump now leaks and drips.. This pump not repairable nor returnable, so no option but to purchase replacement. I am not aware of alternative products. This pump is a must have item to conveniently use the large 87 oz bottles of Ghirardelli Chocolate Sauce. Great chocolate, lousy pump.
