Works well! My pool is sparkly!

Very impressed with this. Our in-ground pool was a bit cloudy despite having the right amount of free chlorine etc. and I found myself having to shock the pool more and run the filter longer to keep it under control. After adding the amount recommended in the instructions, my pool became crystal clear within a few days time. I don't have to run my pool filter as often, haven't had to shock it again yet, and I've seen no algae growth. The attached image is of the pool prior to vacuuming it, a few days after the product was added. It really does seem to do what it claims, i.e. keep all the non-living organics under control so the chlorine can focus on what it's meant to do. I'm sold and, barring any surprises, will use this product from now on for reduced maintenance and crystal clear water in my pool.

This Orenda CV-600 works very well in conjunction with the PR-10000 phosphate remover. They are NOT the same product. I used an entire quart of this enzymatic cleaner to help break down and degrade the organic sludge and debris in my sand filter. I added both the CV-600 and the PR-10000 to the water and it did turn it cloudy for about a week, but I had crystal clear water for the rest of the season. I wish I had known about this product sooner, and I will use it as soon as I open my pool the following spring. I noticed a big improvement in water clarity after about a week. I highly recommend Orenda's phosphate remover to be used as well. I highly recommend this!

Between using this and oxidizing shock every 1-2 weeks, and phosphate remover as needed, my water is crystal clear all summer. I never need to use a clarifier. It's like a soap that breaks down oils, scum, and other organic compounds so the oxidizer shock can destroy them.

Effectiveness, speed

I have used other enzyme cleaners with success. However, after use of some products, the ORP of my pool water actually DECLINED, only recovering a few days later once the enzyme was used up. The Orenda product actually resulted in an immediate increase in the pool water's ORP level. Tested it a couple of times, got the same results in ORP. I have used other enzymes products, they are cheaper and somewhat effective. But I find that the Orenda product results in the highest ORP level when used on a weekly basis. I only use this product during the swimming season.

This stuff really works. Almost totally eliminated the oily bathtub ring around our fiberglass pool. Keeps our water sparkling clear. We have definitely noticed a difference.

Pool had lots of staining after events and I was continually advised by my pool store to use vitamin C and stain stop, but all I needed was this….must have for pool season
