Ideal for walking the dog and keeping the chill off my neck, head and ears. It's snug so maybe consider a size up. The ear flaps allow room for your headphones and infact pretty much prevent them falling out. Without head phones they muffle the sound of on coming traffic, so I need to be aware of my surroundings. It is warm and dry though, which is what I got it for. I'd go as far to say, it is a quality product.

...and have seen cheaper since purchasing. It does a good job of keeping the rain out whist being warm, especially on the ears. I do recommend it but there is cheaper out there. 4 stars for the price.

Absolutely the best winter hat for walking. Its not that flattering but it keeps me lovely and warm and it stops the sun from my blinding me. Great fit.

An excellent hat for the current cold, wet and windy weather! The hood on my anorak is annoying in that it frequently gets blown off. However, if I tighten the draw strings it comes down and covers my eyes. Fortunately, this hat is excellent. It is warm, waterproof and it covers my ears. It may no be the most elegant headgear but when it's raining sideways, I don't care!

Everything a bad weather cap should be. Warm, waterproof and flaps to stop your ears freezing. Oh, and a velcro strap to stop the wind blowing it off! As a glasses wearer a slightly bigger peak would have been useful to keep the rain off but of course the wind would push it about more. There is a useful stud to hold the peak up if you don't need it. Can't help feeling like a WW2 tank driver when I wear mine though!

Wore these in the arctic circle during husky sledding for 5 days. Kept my head warm and dry so very pleased. Only issue is in the wind the ears flap up and I was forever pulling them back down which kind of defeats the purpose of the hat. Needs a draw string.
