Glass Cutter Tool Set 2mm-20mm Pencil Style Oil Feed Carbide Tip with 2 Bonus Blades and Screwdriver

So I read the reviews and was a bit hesitant based on them to purchase this. I purchased anyways and I have to say, Wow! I have never been able to cut glass with any luck in the past and this tool is a game changer! I made about 50 test cuts on some scrap 2mm glass without a single issue. Moved on to the 3mm glass I was using for my project and guess what? The resulting panes all came out identical with perfect breaks! If you're looking for a good quality glass cutter that just works, look no further!

First and foremost, USE OIL!!! This will make this tool work perfectly. I've never used a glass cutter like this before. I need to cut down a wall mirror 1/4 inch thick. First I tried it with no oil and it didn't work so well. Not a clean edge whatsoever. Not even close. I didn't have any glass oil so I tried bar and chain oil from my chainsaw and it worked perfectly. I would assume any kind of oil would work. I also keep it stored in a ziplock baggie just in case it leaks. This tool is worth every penny. Even if you only need it once. What a great tool to have for times when needed.

Like: easy to use, three cutters for different thickness glass. Dislike: oil in handle flows out too fast. Needs denser porous plug in the feed. Have to fill prior to using then refill for next use. Concept good, just need slower feed.

The cutter works. It is cheap. The back of the package is written in terribly translated English. The cutter itself constantly comes unscrewed from the tip meaning you have to stop and tighten it every couple of cuts. I wish I'd bought something better, the amount of glass I'm wasting due to poor scoring is ridiculous. ______________________________________________ I received a message from the seller after I wrote this stating that they had begun using a different supplier after seeing my review. I appreciate they took my feedback seriously, and am upgrading the product to five stars as a result. Please realize this is not based on my testing of the replacement product, but appreciation that they took customer feedback so seriously.

When I received this product, I was hopeful that it would meet my needs. However, I was disenchanted with the very small (read "micro") pieces that were part of the mechanism that are used to use and maintain the cutter and change cutter heads. For adult sized hands, these were very difficult to handle and align the threads Also, the lubricant supposed to be included was gone. Not sure if it just wasn't included or it evaporated. There was no cap to the container but the inside of the plastic shell holding the product didn't appear to be oily. I was able to complete my tasks to complete my Christmas gifts using other oil I had on hand. The connection holding the cutter head to the handle was flimsy that resulted in a lousy cut line that I then had to sand down. The "instructions" were pathetic. Some kind of hand signs and obviously translated from some other language again with no quality control. I would not recommend this product to others.

This worked GREAT for cutting mirror. The typical glass cutter was not working for me. I ruined so many mirrors and almost gave up on cutting my own mirrors. I figured I just couldn't cut glass. I watched 2 YouTube videos where people said that same thing so I tried this tool and it worked so great! **Tip: the ball on the end has a purpose, if you're trying to cut a skinny piece of glass or if a piece won't break easily after scoring it, hold it the opposite way and tap the ball along the score line on the side you're not using. This will help the cut start to run and will break more easily!

For 1.99 my old and thoroughly used cutter has cut a 100' or so. Haven't gotten that "crisp" feeling/sounding cut just yet with this one. Not a quitter I am. Will check back. Thanks! So... Checking back with great news! By the luck of the draw I just so happened to got a dull set of cutting wheels/disks. With my new replacements this thing IS smooth as glass so to speak. Awesome and very easy to control, and there's nothing like that clearly crisp sound and feel of performance. Great tool!! Thanks

I watched a youtube video and was set. Cut clean and easy though it didn’t seem like it cut at all. I did a couple of passes and then used a cloth to help break off the piece that I needed to chip away. It was a very thin piece that needed to be cut off and folks at Lowe’s said they couldn’t cut a piece that small off. This kit did the job along with some glass oil and some cardboard and fabric to break the piece off gingerly.
