65826 Butane Lighter Insert - Single Torch, Chrome

Wanted to share how much i like these new lighter inserts. they fit perfectly into my existing Zippo and work reliably every time I use them. I've tested them during trips and even in everyday tasks like lighting candles or starting a campfire. it's nice knowing i don’t have to carry a full lighter all the time, just swap these in when needed. definitely a handy upgrade that makes parts replacement super easy and quick.😊 feeling pleased with the quality and convenience so far. will keep using these for sure!

I have purchased this same insert 4 times now and it is AMAZING. It is not only perfect for my Dragon Armor Series Zippo but if you know how to properly drain excess air and fill it then it will light every time. I've had a few and have found that they can last between 2 and 5 years, depending on usage,before the Piezo ignition goes out. All in all this is absolutely genius and will definitely light in ANY wind

after googling a quick fix it works now!!! it is out the package basically not functional, but you can fix it easy, a little pricey for what it is, but it does work good and have a good warranty.

Seems like these lighter inserts work well for everyday use, especially when you're out camping or just need a quick light at home. I like how easy they are to swap into my existing Zippo. However, they don't last very long before needing a refill, which can be a bit inconvenient if you're in a hurry. Still, they’re a handy backup and save me some money since I can replace just the insert instead of the whole lighter. Overall, a decent purchase for quick lighting needs but could improve on durability.

I bought this butane insert over 4 years ago and it never really worked that well. I tried the suggestions to remove the limiter, etc... and then the thought occurred me to recently to adjust it without the limiter. This worked. I was able to find the minimum point where it would stay barely ignited. Then turned it until it was using fuel too fast. Then backed it down to find a good sweet spot. Then I re-inserted the limiter based on this. Now it easily ignites and stays on, and repeat ignitions are 100% reliable. I no longer have to worry about the Zippo fuel drying with the old wick setup. I can also buy Zippo butane fuel relatively cheaply at my local store. If yours doesn't ignite properly, stay lit, or uses fuel too quickly - I suggest playing with the adjustments with or without the limiter to get it to work.

I found these inserts to be pretty handy when I wanted a quick switch at work. They light up reliably and seem to last well. Plus, it's really convenient to keep a couple in my pocket. Love zippo butane insert. Now please note that from my personal experience these past few years with the zippo butane insert: use a high quality butane always, I personally do not refill until it will not flame at all, I then turn the dial to the lowest setting and burp my zippo by pressing the fill valve on insert I then lightly shake and burp again and I will do this about 4 to 5 times to be sure I have released as much air as possible before filling the insert with the butane. I know I shouldn't ( but I do ) I like to press into the fill port for a few seconds and then release completely quickly. I do this 4 to 5 times avoiding the bouncing somepeople like to do when refueling butane lighters. Zippos do not like air in the tanks. I very gently shake the insert between each squirter of butane. If I begin to feel the butane spraying out I stop at that point it's either full like it should be or it is full of air and is refusing the fuel. I turn the insert upright and insert into the zippo case close the lid and set standing up for 3 to 5 minutes before ever attempting to strike. They tend to freeze when fueling so give it a few to thaw a bit before using the zippo. I know this seems like a task but it takes me less than 10 minutes and I use my zippo for several days before fueling again smoking a pack of cigarettes a day. I find this insert for zippo to be in my top 3 of butane lighters. Quality however makes zippo always number 1.

Excellent flame, and while the flame lacks the romanticism of the classic petrol fuel and with the noise would not look as good in those classic movies it is at least as functionl. Also it has the classic click. I like it
