Top notch quality
The Wera Hex Plus Key Set has been a game changer in my tool collection. This set stands out due to its exceptional quality and the innovative Hex-Plus design. Unlike standard hex keys, the Hex-Plus technology prevents the rounding out of screws and provides better surface contact, which makes loosening and tightening fasteners smoother and more efficient. I’ve found that it extends the lifespan of both the keys and the screws I’m working with. The set is made from high-grade, durable material, ensuring that the keys maintain their integrity even after extensive use. The precise machining and sturdy build give me confidence when applying torque, even on challenging jobs. The keys are color-coded, which is a small but highly useful feature that allows for quick identification of the size I need without wasting time. The ergonomic design of the Wera Hex Plus keys is another big plus. The keys fit comfortably in hand, and their shape makes them easier to grip and maneuver compared to traditional L-shaped keys. The included clip or case also helps keep everything organized and prevents loss, which is essential for anyone working in busy or cluttered environments. Overall, the Wera Hex Plus Key Set is a top-tier product that outperforms most standard hex key sets. Whether you're a professional tradesperson or a DIY enthusiast, this set is worth the investment for its durability, innovative design, and ease of use. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and effective hex key set.

Pocket size
As an engineer, I find the Wera 950/9 Hex-Plus Multicolour 2 an excellent set to keep in your pocket or tool bag. It’s compact, well designed and covers the essential metric hex sizes from 1.5 to 10 mm. The build quality is outstanding, as you would expect from Wera. The colour-coded sleeves make it very quick to identify the size you need, while the comfortable grip makes the keys much easier to use than standard bare-metal Allen keys. The ball-end is also very useful when working in awkward or hard-to-reach positions.

Highly recommended
At £29 for a set of 9 Hex keys - these are definitely not the cheapest on the market. In fact, they're one of the more expensive. But if you're an owner of other Wera tools, then you'll not need any convinicing on the quality of their products. Otherwise, if you're thinking - why spend so much when you can get a standard hex set for a third of this price? Then you've not experienced this 'Hex-Plus' design. Its a slightly concave hexagonal shape that makes such a noticeable difference when using it - less slippage and better tolerance and therefore provides a greater longevity to your hex screws and bolts (and the hex keys themselves). Also, these hex keys have a ball end that you don't tend to see on your basic hex key set. It gives a faster mounting position and is more effective if mounting slightly off centre. I actualy get a better torque using these than my older hex set that are more than 1.5x longer. Each L-key is colour coded for easier identification and they are all housed in a nice compact holder - which is lockable via a sliding button - very nicely designed. These are now not only the most colourful tool in my DIY draw, but a pleasure to use. Makes me wanna go buy some ikea flatpack stuff just for the excuse! I highly recommend them.

It's the quality of the steel.
I haven't owned a set of allen keys for donkeys years, I haven't had the need for them. Recently, I did have a need and decided to get a decent set (I hate having to spend twice) and after a little bit of research I opted for this set. Now I'm not going to suggest that these are the creme-del-a-creme of all allen keys, but they are pretty close and certainly good enough for the vast majority of people. I bought these for one specific job, but I know that they will get used on many others now that I have them. If you're looking for a decent set of allen keys, for the money, I personally don't think that you'll go far wrong with these 👌

Performance
Excellent set of Allen keys, clearly marked by size. Both ends fit extremely well with the ball end giving improved access when getting perpendicular is difficult.

good quality
good quality as usual from Wera. i like the locking button on holder. downside is the colour sleeves on the keys which make them thicker and hard to clean.
