AJ0013 Air Charge Temperature Sensor | Replaces 210-1027. OE-grade O2 sensor.

Works good

Installed in a '89 Jeep Wagoneer 4.0L. Observing the IAT sensor readout on a Renduinix REM II+, this unit corresponded to only 74°F even at full engine warmup. I measured it's resistance whith a multimeter, which was far from the specified change curve published for this sensor, i.e., resistance is supposed to become lower with increased temps. Thus the ECU always read it as "cold", and wouldn't switch from Open Loop to Closed Loop; fuel mix stayed Rich, poor MPG/performance. Reinstalled an old IAT sensor with a resistance that's stuck at ~200°F: engine runs fine again. None of the new IAT sensors I've tried had the correct temp response, so beware of the new ones.

After changing out several sensors in my 1998 Dodge Ram, turns out after just a few months, this one wasn't working, and was the cause of a check engine light.

I accidentally broke the plastic body my original stock air charge temperatyre sensor when installing motor mounts on my 2000 cherokee. This was a direct replacement for the part with a brass fitting and it threaded correctly without any hassle. I put a little antiseize on the threads and used a short 3/4 crescent wrench to tighten her down (you can also use a 19mm wrench). I know that parts from Mexico aren't always the best, but I trust NTK (which is NGK) with quality control. 10/10 happy customer
