great solution for a gooseneck trailer and shortbox truck
This is a nice well designed product that keeps the weight distribution correct for the truck while at the same time giving a good amount of clearance to the cab. Much more effective than an offset ball which only gives you 3 or 4 inches. This product is solidly constructed and high quality. Another bonus for me was that my trailer (enclosed) has storage space built over the hitch so there was fairly low clearance between the trailer and the box sides. this made me nervous that I would damage the box sides or the trailer during a turn on a grade. the extra 16 inches this product gives me has substantially reduced (maybe eliminated) that issue so it solves two issues for me. This takes a lot of anxiety out of using this trailer. - - highly recommended. Not inexpensive but a good value.
