When shooting at long ranges, every little detail becomes critical. The further out you go, the more those details can make or break your shot. Ensuring you have a clear sight picture can be one of the most important. If you cannot see your target, you cannot shoot it. As you begin to shoot, your suppressor gathers a lot of heat. This heat begins to rise off of the suppressor and creates a mirage. This mirage can obstruct your view making it almost impossible to see the target. The HTP (or High Temperature Python) Suppressor Cover is made to mitigate that mirage coming off of the suppressor.Only from Cole-TAC can you get the leading suppressor cover retention system. Using the unique BOA locking straps, your cover is secured to your suppressor ensuring it stays in place while shooting. Other covers loosen up over time and begin to slide off. When you are on target, the last thing you need is to look up at your cover. Other great benefits of the BOA straps include allowing for stretching over time, and being able to use it on similarly sized suppressors.The covers are made from only the highest quality materials. The base layer is flash rated to 3000°F and the middle material is rated to 1800°F. The outer shell is a durable 1000 Denier Cordura Nylon that is water resistant and stands up against fading, abrasion, rot, and mildew. Buy once, cry once!
Love this cover. Fits my YHM resonator very well, makes an incredible difference with heat mirage. Also lets you handle suppressor after firing multiple rounds. Purchased for prairie dog hunting in Montana. I have higher scope mounts and lower scope mounts on the 2 main rifles i use and dont have a problem seeing over it through scope which was my original worry. I have had this cover so hot the heat resistant liner was smoking, yet you could still take suppressor off without a glove(dont touch the metal buckles, found that out the hard way). Works amazing. If you own a suppressor, you need to own one of these!

Doesn’t hold up

No mirage

Decent but could do better
Definitely love the price, but I wish I would’ve upgraded. This cover fits like a glove as it should and the construction is pretty solid. Installation is super simple. The only downside I have is the cover doesn’t protect from the heat as much as I was expecting. I put 30 rounds down range, went to touch the cover to check to see how well the cover protects from the heat and it felt like I just touched the barrel. After 30 mins I tried again and it was just warm to the touch. If you need a cover for a cheap price this is the one, if you want to swap your suppressor at the range to another firearm, pick something different.

Looks good, works as designed
This product fits perfectly on a 7.75” can, the heat resistant sleeve slides on easily. So far it does exactly as intended and retains the heat very well. This cover is very thick and provides good padding and also protection against scratches and bumps. All the fit and finish is just about perfect. The only downside is the fibers that make up the heat sleeve sort of stick to the can but they are easily brushed off and don’t cause any harm to the piece
