Signature by Levi Strauss & Co. Gold Women's Totally Shaping Pull-On Skinny Jeans (Available in Plus Size)

These pull-on jeans ("jeans") are awesome. This is my 3rd pair! Let me offer some sizing and fit advice, because that is what I struggled with when thinking about this purchase. For the past decade I have been in the size range of about 2-14 (thanks, petite pregnancy (x3) body!) In recent years I have become size S, small, 2-4. Sometimes XS/0-2, depending on the fit of that particular brand, sometimes M/6-8, you know how it goes. So, this new pair is a size 4 and it fits *almost* perfectly (still better than any regular jeans I have). My other two pairs of these particular pants are both size 6 (fit me well in the past, between having babies and pandemic weight gain, etc.) and I keep them around because A) they are awesome "jeans" and B) I can wear them with super thick fleece leggings underneath, and stay active outside in freezing Chicago winters. Since I have ordered medium/size 6 clothes in the past, Amazon kept recommending that I get a size 6, based on my body type (even after I changed the info in my account) and "millions of reviews" or whatever. I got a size 4 instead and Amazon, you were wrong, I was right. 4 is about as perfect as I can get with my unusual body. (Meet Virginia!) For reference I am 5ft1. I weigh 135lbs today, but my typical range month-to-month is 128-138lbs (thanks, typical female body! yes, I thank my body often). I do not look like a lot of other women, or fit in the same clothes of other women who weigh the same and are the same height, it's my muscles, they are very heavy, I guess. My body is usually typed as an hourglass, but honestly my waist isn't that small, my hips are kinda narrow and my shoulders certainly appear wide to me but IDK I still wear small or xs tops and dresses and they fit fine. Jeans are UGGGHHHH. Regular jeans, it's such a struggle, regular Levi's with buttons and flys, some of the stretchy 2/26s sort of fit, and some I can't even pull all the way up. I can pull on a 4/27, but they have to have the right stretch to fit right, and if they don't have the right stretch I have to get a bigger size (6? 8 sometimes?) and they just don't look right at all. 6s just don't fit right at all, I can't describe it but you know what it's like when you pull on jeans, they're not too tight, not too loose, but they just don't FIT. MY LEGS ARE HUGE. It's really hard to find jeans and pants that fit right when you have huge strong legs and you need them to stay that way, because you bike absolutely everywhere, even in freezing Chicago winters. A size 2 *may* have fit my waist & hips a little better, but they would not have enough room in the legs and belly--my very pouchy belly, which I thank for allowing me to bear my babies--for me to be comfortable in all my various activities. I do not usually like wide leg jeans of any sort, they look ridiculous on me and I can't bike in them, either. These pants fit great and I feel like I look awesome in them. And they are so comfortable. Also, my spouse really loves the way I look in these pants. Really, really loves. Usually, said spouse does not like the look of "fake jeans" or jeggings, because real buttons and flys are sooo seggsy (eyeroll) but these are LOVE.

I'm always a 6. I ordered a 6. I couldn't get it over my hips because there is no zipper. So I ordered an 8. I was able to get it up, but then I got severe muffin top because the waist was still so fitted. I ordered a 10. I have zero other articles of clothing in this size. But presto! The pants fit! These are great because they look like you are wearing regular jeans, but yet you feel like you are wearing leggings. I am able to do housework in these and not feel constricted. I ended up getting them in two colors. I don't know how long they will last, but for $30, I can buy a new pair if they wear out quickly. ****Updating three months later to provide more info: Three months ago, I ordered these in two different blues and a black. Got size 10, two sizes up from my regular size, and they all fit fine. I have stopped wearing my other jeans and just wear these comfy ones. They still look great. I hang them to dry and avoid the dryer. I decided to order a pair in light blue. Got the same size 10. Threw them in the wash before wearing, without trying them on first. I put them on and they are BIG. They do NOT fit the same way as the others. The waist is loose and the legs aren't tight enough. They inch their way down, sagging. I cannot wear them. I exchanged the 10s for an 8, still one size up from usual. And they are STILL big. The waist is loose and they sag in the butt. I had to keep pulling them up. I laid down these light blue ones and put my existing dark blues on top. See the photo? You can see the issue. For some reason, the light blue ones aren't tapered in at the waist. They just go straight up. Now this is great for those who don't have a waist, but if you have a waist, these will not work. I then exchanged for a size 6, and that fits. The waist on these light blue ones is just vertical, no tapering. I don't like the fit as much as I like the others, but they do fit. So now I have three of these in size 10 and one in size 6. This explains why some reviewers are saying they are true to size, and others are saying they run small. It seems there is a lack of consistency across the different colors.

I ordered the pants in my current size of 24 short plus size. They're comfortable and easy pull on/off. However, these jeans are thick. I was expecting a thinner product due to being pull up jeans, nope. They should last but, I'll definitely be wearing more in the winter time. They don't have much stretch to them at all, definitely not see through, and the fabric is nice and soft but thick. Just for reference I'm 5'4 weight 245, and I ordered 24 short plus. They fit everywhere but my waist and buttocks area were to big. Even with drying them they didn't draw up much at all. The legs fit perfectly. I'm keeping them, I'll just keep in mind when I wear them i have to keep them pulling them up.

I absolutely love these pants. They are so comfortable. The waistband does not roll down. It has a little panel in the front that is very flattering. They have some stretch to them so they don’t get baggy. The fabric is very good quality. They fit exactly as expected. I bought them in two different colors. I was so happy with them. I actually wear the black pair to work.

Great looking jeans, the fit is horrible. It fit great in some areas, but the front and back were extra baggy!

Fabric is stretchy but retains form, perfect length and super comfortable.

Nice quality Levi’s, they do fit a little small. They are not ugly as some mom jeans can be.

These jeans are so comfortable. I was hesitant to buy a pair I have not tried on, but I really needed a new pair. They are very snug and stretchy which makes them very comfy. Also the jean is on the thick side, not a lot but just feels that way to me and so I feel like these jeans are going to be around for a long time. They are the perfect length on me to wear with ankle boots. I am about 5'7 and 140lbs athletic body shape, I ordered a 6s.

Jeans arrived and were a perfect fit until first wash. Then they shrank and were no longer comfortable to wear, super disappointed.
