Drainage hole at base. Shock cord securing still needs two hands to use, unlike with some other types of similar gear. Does help stop the bottle from falling out easily, if the pouch in is inverted with the lid open, in an unlikely scenario. If you are expecting Molle on the front of the Multicam Pouch, as shown in the desertcart Stock photo, there aren't any. Clearly does the job, although pricier than some other solutions on the market. Could be enhanced, by adding a flat profile handle at the side, or detachable shoulder strap at the top, in addition to the rear molle attachment. Be warned though - the description says it fits 1L Camelbak bottles, but it definitely doesn’t fit their 1L Chute Mag bottles.
