Very good flyer and unbelievably durable
I am a long time RC flier and wanted something easier to fly. I saw this model and decided to try it, neverhaving any experience with the brand. Pleasantly surprised when I assembled it.... very satisfied with how it flies. Had an unfortunate incident with it and had a straight down impact from about 40-50 ft. I really expected that it was terminal....to my surprise, only the prop was broken and the motor shaft was broken.I have a new motor on order and that should be, along with the prop, all I'll need. Very impressed and am a real fan of this brand....highly recommend it.

This plane needed more weight in front to give it better balance.
This plane is VERY nice. One thing that could be changed is the motor and adaptor shaft are too weak. I bent it the first flight. Overall the plane flys very well. It is surprisingly fast and very manuverable. Also, I added larger wheels to be able to fly off grass. HAPPY NEW YEAR

What a mess! Terrible!!!!
This kit should’ve only taken 2 hours tops to assemble. Problems started with the bolts used as the wheel axles, one was a 1/4” shorter than the other, being short did not allow you tighten the nylon insert nut to a point where it might come loose.Next was the landing gear screws, both of them were too short to engage the nut plate inside, even after compressing the plastic fuselage. After running to my local hardware store and purchasing longer screws I discovered that the interior nut plates were at such an angle that the screws started to cross thread. My solution was to drill out the existing nut plates and use a nylon insert nut on the inside to prevent loosening, it was a challenge getting the nut started seeing how there was very little room, but the task was accomplished. Finally the clip on the fuselage that the wing clips to was installed at about a 20 degree angle instead of being parallel to the fuselage. Being fastened from the interior by two screws that are impossible to get at, I used a dremel tool to grind the existing screws off then used 30 minute epoxy with two #0 wood screws to reattach the clip.I haven’t flown it yet (I’m about half afraid) so who knows what will happen to the motor and esc once it’s put under load!!!!UPDATE:Finally went to fly this at my local RC club……The motors shaft is bent!!!!! Propeller wobbles so much the entire plane shakes!!!! Really hope they take this piece of junk back🤬🤬🤬

Fine plane for the price, but PNP version is not a good trainer
I got the PNP version of this, installed an Frsky PWM receiver and the process was fairly painless. Plane flies pretty well for what it is. It's fast, fairly maneuverable, and has survived it's share of rough landings. The tail warps a little bit when using the rudder which leads to some bad flight characteristics but you don't end up using the rudder a lot anyways. Motor isn't particularly durable with a weak axle but after a crash I was able to bend the axle back into shape and it was fine since. As a cheap foam 4 channel plane it's not hard to recommend at the price pointHowever, particularly compared to the more expensive alternatives for "trainer" style planes designed for first-time fliers, the plane is very twitchy in the air with overly responsive controls, and tippy on takeoffs and landings. I assume this is largely due to it's small size. Fortunately my first few flights were with a co-pilot setup so I didn't crash it, but I certainly would have crashed and wrecked if I were just trying to learn it without an instructor, like most people. It took a lot of radio configuration (generous expo, rate profile reducing aileron and elevator authority by 50%) to make the plane remotely comfortable to fly as a beginner.Presumably the radio included with the RTF version of this plane has gyro-stabilization and a good control profile built in that make it a decent entry-level experience, but if you're looking for a deal on your starting trainer plane by buying this and putting a random flysky radio in it, this plane is a bad trainer.

Awesome design.Great handling
The media could not be loaded. My first VolantexRC plane. I was able to put this together in 3 hours. This is a well designed rc airplane for beginners and intermediate users. This airplane is pretty fast so you'll need to get some flights in to get a good feeling for it. Amazing handling and performance. Can perform acrobatic maneuvers and really well. I love this plane. One of my experienced rc friend took it for a spin and loved it as well.

Great starter plane for beginners.
I purchased this model for my 12 year old daughter she flew the plane with little or no help from myself. The plane is easy to assemble. The plane is durable very well made. I highly recommend this rc plane
