Question 1

What is the spacing of the wall mount frame bolts?  I'd like to use the mount on my bicycle frame water bottle mounts.

There are 2 screw holes 4 inches apart but it's an open frame design so you should have plenty of flexibility.  Keep in mind that this will be viewed by most police as a very dangerous weapon and you may want to rethink carrying it exposed on a bicycle - mine doesn't leave my house.

Can it be used indoor?

gel is designed to be used indoors / close quarters. Be forwarned that it WILL still present a little bit of blow back, just not as bad as the liquid sprays. If you spray this and then walk right up into the area of the spray path, you will get minor blow-back effects, but no, this won't send everyone in the house running for the hills like the liquid spray will.

Can the spray be used more than once?  If so, how many times?

Accepted Answer

It can be used more than once - I just gave it a quick squirt to make sure it worked and that I was comfortable using it.  If you plan to test it periodically, I'd recommend weighing the full can and weighing again after each use.  The contents are 13 ounces and my can weighs 19 ounces without the mounting bracket.  Make sure you don't over-test; save plenty for protection!

while on travel, is there security concerns at airports or on airline when it is in checked in baggage?

Not this one.  The TSA website says that, Self Defense Sprays - One 4 ounce (118ml) container of mace or pepper spray is permitted in checked baggage provided it is equipped with a safety mechanism to prevent accidental discharge. Self Defense Sprays containing more than 2% by mass of Tear Gas (CS or CN) are prohibited in Checked Baggage.
