Lovely quality nail varnish

I never write reviews, but just felt compelled to say how this product has completely surpassed my (admittedly not very high) expectations. I know Sally Hansen is a good brand, however normal nail varnish tends to chip quickly regardless. I brought this gorgeous pearly pink shade thinking it wouldn't be so obvious when it invariably chipped. 10 days ago, whilst in early labour with my newborn daughter I decided I wanted pretty nails (?!) and hurriedly applied this to my fingernails. Fast forward to a 76 hour labour, and a full week of changing nappies and it has just started chipping and growing out. I cannot believe how amazing this nail varnish is!! If you are looking for a hard wearing, delicate shade to wear everyday and to look "pretty" (nails, anyway!) look no further! Your dream nail varnish is in the shape of this product, I would highly recommend. Note, I used this product in conjunction with the Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Anti Chip Top Coat, 13.3ml. And no, I did not get paid to write this review, or receive a freebie, this is simply my own glowing opinion!

I bought the shade 'Plum's The Word'. Sorry for the bad picture, I work with animals and cleaning their living areas out all day so my nails/hands are not the best quality and I didn't neaten up my nail polish haha.... The shade is not pink as the picture of it portrays, but the little square where you can choose your shade is more like it. That's why I'm giving it a star less as its a bit confusing to see if it's true to the picture or not. But it is a gorgeous shade and very nice quality bottle! This will last me a while I think and I'll update on how it lasts and if it chips or not, especially in my line of work! I have also bought the Insta - Dri Top Coat (not used in pic) so that should help prevent chipping.

Great Product and service

I tend to stick to pinks/ pink tones and although Sally Hansen is good nail polish I found this colour a little too thin/ no substance to it.

I received this nail polish just over a week ago 660 pat on the black great colour it did need 3coats although it is base coat and top coat too it's just a week now since I. applied it and I've filed my nails down twice and no chips at all it's brilliant 💅

I love sally hansen products. But this one is not for me. It comes off after being in warm / hot water after first time so if you wash pits / shower / bathe then you are going to be putting it on daily. If it stops on it chips very easily. Just not one for me. If I could send back for a refund I would.

I like this range from Sally Hansen that throws the kitchen sink into one bottle with base, colour, top coat plus strengthener, growth treatment and chip resistance this is a better offering from the collection with excellent coverage and consistency and good wear for having no locking top coat. For extra longevity I would be tempted to see how it performs under a Daylight-cure gel top coat. The colour of Sgt Preppy is a pleasant muted soft mauve-pink that is gentle and inoffensive, a great colour if you like your nails to be neat and painted but not making a statement whether for personal style or professional reasons. It not an OMG I love it colour, but it's certainly an easy to wear colour that I can see myself using up. The formulation of Sgt Preppy is creamy and consistent and achieved almost perfection in one coat but needed a second for true opacity, however if you aren't fussy like me or like a semi sheer look this would be a one coat wonder. Unlike most nail polishes today it is pretty quick to dry fully meaning my manicure was complete quickly and set without too much sitting around.. This one self levels better than others in the range meaning you get an even opacity and does have a nice brush making application an easy experience. I was impressed at getting 3 days wear out of this nail polish before getting tip wear, of which was still wearable but the fourth day had shards wearing from the tips, though results across the range vary in severity but an average of 3-4 days is pretty good considering no top coat and the other treatments. Overall I like but don't love this colour, it doesn't save time, nor last as long as their gel range BUT is nourishing to the nail and a good compromise if you know you won't apply and base and top coat AND the coats of colour necessary.

Ich trage eher selten Nagellack, da ich mit drei kleinen Kindern nicht dauernd Zeit zum Neuauftragen habe - geschweige denn, dass ich meine Hände besonders schonen kann. Ich habe in einem Magazin einen Artikel über Sally Hansen gelesen und mir daraufhin diesen Lack bestellt. Und ich kann ihn nur empfehlen! + tolle Farbe, passt zu ganz vielen Stylings - ist modern, aber nicht zu abgefahren + gute Deckkraft schon beim ersten Auftrag - ich habe zwei Schichten aufgetragen um die Haltbarkeit zu erhöhen + kurze Trocknungszeit + super Auftragbürstchen - konkav gebogene Bürste passt sich dem Nagel optimal an - da konnte sogar ich als Nicht-Profi ein sauberes und schönes Lackbild erreichen + lange Haltbarkeit, mein Lack hielt 7 Tage, dann begann er, sich vorne an der Nagelspitze abzulösen; nach 8 Tagen habe ich ihn entfernt. + tolle Namen der Farben (völlig nebensächlich, gefällt mir persönlich jedoch sehr) ;-) Mein Tipp: Noch einen Überlack drübermachen - dann halten die Nägel mindestens 8 (aktive) ;-) Tage. >> Fazit: Ich kann den Sally Hansen Lack guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen! :-)

La marca è buona, il colore in questo specifico caso, risulta differente dall immagine, perché blu notte scuro, quasi nero

Ich bin eher zufällig auf den Farbton gestoßen, Flieder - eine Hammer Farbe. Kann leider hier die negativen Bewertungen nicht nach vollziehen. Ich musste 2 Schichten auftragen, was für mich kein Problem dar stellte.....gut trocknen lassen. Der Haushalt musste gemacht werden, noch 3 Bleche Plätzchen gebacken, mit dem Hund im Park rum getobt- Keinerlei Kratzspuren oder was gerissen oder abgeplatzt. TOP Nagellack, kann ich gut und gerne weiter empfehlen.

Not the best color from this brand. One layer is fine,but second one is apples unevenly.
