So good, bright and absolutely no flicker. Crisp white colour (cool white not warm white) quality product.

This bulb gives a decent light for reading if you use a shoulder high side-table lampshade (quite difficult to find with LED bulbs in my experience).

Whatever you think about incandescent light bulbs, and the Greens tend not to think, the mercury vapour "low energy" (for that read "low light") the Climate Change mob forced on us were actually much worse for the environment. You break an incandescent light bulb and you get metal, glass, and argon, none of them bad for the environment. When you break a mercury vapour light bulb you get metal, glass, and a highly toxic mercury vapour and no collection method was ever envisioned or implemented. Green indeed! LED lights are much better, than either. Bright, low energy use, and non-toxic when disposed of. I would highly recommend these, bright, long life, and competitively priced.

Arrived nicely packaged with minimal cardboard. Give off a daylight white which is useful for my space (in the loft) and not noticed any shadow issues from the light only coming from the bottom half of the bulb. Can’t comment on lifespan but I don’t imagine having to change these bulbs again in my lifetime.
