MagicPro Solar String Lights, 15 LED Bulbs Waterproof Heavy Duty Outdoor 44 Ft for Garden Yard Deck Warm White

I feel compelled to leave a review for this item because of my mixed, but overall good, feelings about this product. First off, in terms of quality of materials, I would give these string lights solid marks. I have some plug-in brighttech lights that have been outside for years and they are AMAZING, but their solar counterparts didn't get great ratings for material quality, so I thought I would try these. in comparison to my other outdoor lights, the cord is much thinner and more fragile, but still looks pretty good, and I like that these have glass bulbs included. For ease of FIRST use, I would rate these an "F." The instructions are mediocre, at best, and the green indicator light for charging is basically non- existent unless you're in a closet. The mode and power buttons are also kind of squirrely, I had to press the mode button before the power button. I attempted charging these for the first time over the course of several days outside using the solar panel, but due to an undisclosed tidbit (will reveal in a second) about these lights, I was not able to effectively test to see if they worked; when powered on after several days chsrging in bright full sun, the lights would turn on for about five seconds and then shut off, which led me to believe solar charging did not work,, much to my dismay. Since my return window had closed, I decided to bring them inside and attempt charging via USB. I plugged them in and charged for about 12 hours, and then attempted to use the lights again . Again, the lights would turn on for about five seconds and then shut off. I was so disappointed. However, I remembered reading a review that mentioned the lights only stay on when the solar panel is face down, so I tried that and the lights stayed on... for over 24 hours, so far, on one charge! This seemed a little odd to me to be a defect, so I took the lights into a dark room... Now, here is where the undisclosed information comes in. When I purchased these lights, it did not say in the product description or in the paperwork that came with the lights that the solar panel also HAS LIGHT SENSORS. So, this means that even if your battery is fully charged, these lights will not turn on if it is light wherever they are located, unless you flip the panel upside down. If it is dark, they will operate with panel face up. Knowing this information, I am now running the battery out until dead by keeping the panel face down to both test how long they last and to double check that solar panel does, indeed, work to charge the battery. I am expecting good results and will update if it does not charge. After much trial and error I feel comfortable giving this product five stars, despite the trouble it caused me!

Had originally Purchased one 6 years ago and then when we added a pavilion had purchased a second set a year ago. I hooked both up to the "original" recieved solar panel and it's still been running great. I kept the solar panel from the second set aside and left it out one day to get a storage charge update on it the other day. The glass bulbs feel like they are fragile but they are good enough. I've had them bump around the wood framing when putting them up and theywere fine but obviously if slammed they will shatter. Durability: These have held up through southern heat and humidity, along with colder teen temperatures in the winter. Charge: Thee solar panel gets moderate sun positioning with partial shade at times. In the summer it lasts almost all night. I saw it on to about 5am before it shuts off. In the winter the area is positioned doors not get much sun and it goes to about 2-3 (tapping into account it gets darker much earlier). However if it's cloudy it will pay until about 12-1am in the winter. Again, that would be without much sun in a partially shaded area with clouds and it getting dark around 430-5 so it still holds a good 6 hour charge given the circumstances. Been recommending this brand for years to any friends or family or is putting up solar string lights. I'm glad this company has lasted this long as most Amazon brands come and go with copies or replacements from other manufacturers.

Truly a reliable and long lasting experience with these string lights. My first one came with broken bulbs, but they sent me new ones right away. 5 years later, I think I do owe them a review. After 5 years, I have 4 non working bulbs and everything else is still working. I clean the solar panel every spring from pollen. After that, it works like a charm. Keep up the good quality and you'll definitely get more customers and returnees like me.

Previously had string lights on our fence that we loved. Attempted to get replacement bulbs. Tried twice, nothing worked. Ended up buying these. I like the brightness. I like how long they stay lit. BUT Please BE AWARE they are NOT shatter proof. They are glass. I broke two just getting them out of the box and two more broke as I was hanging them on the fence. I'm hoping I have better luck replacing these because I'm exhausted by the search.

Love them and the light that they give off is awesome.

Son muy hermosas, a mi parecer alumbran bastante. Miden bastante abarcan una distancia considerable. Las pedí en época de invierno entonces donde vivo son días más fríos y aunque son días muy nublados se cargan y duran encendidas un buen tiempo, cuando hay sol duran demasiado. Ya quiero ver como son en verano. El envío todo bien y empaque protegido.

Not sure if I got a defect set but am consistently getting 8-12hrs even on a cloudy day! They give off a nice light as well. Very happy with purchase as 9 times out 10 solar lights are rubbish!! Very waterproof (has been tested in the Singapore rain!!! Highly recommended.
