Kohler low-profile toilets are a pain in the posterior when it comes to replacement parts. Home Depot doesn't have them. Plumbing distributors often don't have them. A plumber we hired put the wrong part in and we lived with it for a year until we couldn't take it any more. This flush handle was the exact match for our original part. It works well and tool all of five minutes to install. Amazon's price is great. What's not to like? Update 2021: Had to buy a second one a few years later because the first once got stiff from mineral deposits. It takes less than five minutes to make the replacement and the toilet now works like new.

The Kohler 85114-CP Trip Lever Kit fit right in the toilet and functions very good as a replacement Trip Lever. The Trip Lever appears to be a decent quality replacement lever. No alterations were needed and it took only three minutes to install. I would purchase this Trip Lever again.

UPDATE: works perfectly on my discontinued ~1986 Kohler Rialto K3402 after a bit of modification. Removed the metal strip from the handle via the single Philips head screw, gently hammered out the original bends on an anvil, added a new >90° bend which ends right at 2½" from the handle screw hole center for max leverage (minimum distance from screw hole center to tank wall along the swing is just under 2¾" so 2½" fit perfectly and left VERY little clearance, see still image), added a couple extra holes just in case because the original part was much shorter (seems optional now though imo), reassembled and mounted to toilet, then finalized the bends gently by hand to ensure clearance across the whole sweep. It flushes fully with one quick flick now. Easy 5-10min mod, if you have a couple channel locks/pliers etc & a hammer you can do this. The metal strip appears to be 14-16ga & pretty easy to bend, it's tough enough to do the job for the life of a toilet while still thin enough to make minor bend changes by hand. Will include pic and video of the mod if this silly app doesn't crash while trying again. Fits perfectly and externally looks/feels like the original part, complete with the square trim piece that rests against the tank. Came in original Kohler packaging. Can't seem to get it to flush quite as well as the original part for my 1986ish Kohler Rialto, which had a shorter brass arm with a single 90° bend, but it works if I hold it for a few seconds. Could likely be bent to work perfectly but that's sorta annoying.

Used as replacement, toilet works now!

I bought this for my Mom's Koehler low profile one piece toilet. It was an exact match. Put it through hole, line up handle and plate correctly for handle springback and remember that nut going on is lefty tighty not normal lefty loosey. Took me about 10 min or less to remove and install.

My Kohler toilet is about 25 years old and the lever has been bent for about 20 years! It would stick and stick, but the normal side mount levers don't fit my Kohler because it was a special order. There is nothing wrong with the toilet itself, but trying to find a new lever has almost been impossible, until now. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! It was easy to install too, only took me about 5 minutes!!

Unit arrived on time and in perfect condition, since it was an original part it went on just fine. No problems and the toilet is working like new.. Just remember on this part the nut is reverse threaded.. Cheers

works well, and more sturdy than the plastic handle we had before. This one also has a nice modern look to it. The faceplate didn't fit on though since it didn't fit in the opening for the handle so that was a bummer and would have made the look that much better, but overall it does the job and looks good doing it.
