Very dense material doesn’t squish even when you put all your weight on it but still very comfortable. Be aware that the texture is different from just about any other mat you’ve probably tried. It doesn’t bother me at all because it provides a fantastic grip. If you’re on the fence, GET IT. You’ll be so happy you found it. Cons: 1. It smells like heavy duty plastic or maybe rubber. Its strong and i hope it dissipates quickly. 2. Pattern isn’t my favorite. Would love a solid color or position markers instead. 3. Will not travel well because of its thickness, density and materials. All the reasons why its so amazing. Probably fine to take to a studio but not on a trip.
Review: Doesn't move on wood floor - I recommend this mat. I've been using it for ten days. It doesn't move on my wood floor, rolls out flat, and is made of a dense material that seems very durable. It did smell terrible when I first received it, but I left it unrolled a few days as some other reviewers suggested, and the smell dissipated to the point where it still has a slight smell, but it doesn't bother me at all.

Best yoga mat I’ve ever owned. It hits all the check boxes. Super grippy top and bottom. Great for carpets. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you sweat it becomes slippery

It’s a good looking mat and the thickness is just enough without being too much. When my hands and feet are dry, it has great grip. It does not stretch—excellent. But if you sweat, and I do when I’m doing a yoga workout, it is very slippery. Bummer. I have still not found a mat that doesn’t have this problem, or I would have rated it lower.
