LIANYU 40-Piece Heavy Duty Silverware Set, Stainless Steel Flatware Cutlery Set for 8 is nothing short of sensational. This is a very nice silverware that is heavy duty and feels great in your hands with an excellent weight that you’ll enjoy. No more bent knives, forks or spoons scooping frozen ice cream. The set is absolutely beautifully designed plain with no imprints on it and just polished stainless steel. The engineering is excellent and I found the knife particularly unique as its design works well as a butter knife but also with a more pointed end for cutlery that makes it good for point carving even for a steak having a serrated side of the knife. Best knife set I have ever purchased, beautiful, weighted and heavy-duty. I’m sure the longevity of this knife set will require I give it to my grandchildren. I really enjoy the knife set and its feel; it was a great purchase I highly recommend.

The best!!! We have had these for 3 years and they still look amazing. They are hefty in a good way. We didn't want something that was going to be super light and flimsy or cheap looking. These are perfect! They are still very sharp and a great value for the money. We just bought another set to add to our collection now that our family is growing. They are seriously the best!

I highly recommend this flatware. I bought 8 place settings for my dad last year and a year later, every piece is still bright and shiny. The forks, knives and spoons feel study and don’t rust or break. They are also very easy to clean and look much more expensive than they are. My dad recently asked me to buy him some more flatware in preparation for Thanksgiving, so we are twice satisfied customers! I also appreciated the care of the packaging. Every single piece was individually wrapped to protect against damage in transit.

The Lianyu silverware set is everything I was hoping for. The beautiful stainless steel finish still looks great after multiple washes, the serrated butter knives can cut meat (accidentally confirmed on my thumb), and the spoons can even be used to scoop ice cream without bending. I also loved that I wasn't buying a bunch of serving flatware that I'll rarely (if ever) use. The only thing that might disappoint some people is that the dessert forks are pretty small and the knives might feel somewhat small for people with big hands. To me, they are both find, and the set gets a solid 5-star rating. [2 year update: Still no scratches, and still shining. I'm leaving the review with 5 stars!]

I wanted heavy weight cutlery and this set is that - every bit of the way. It is substantial and feels like restaurant heavy weights! It is modern and attractive - simple design with clean lines - I really love these two elements of the flatware. However, it is sort of dull greyish silver and it always has water spots regardless of how carefully I handle it. I am sorry to say that It does not look like high quality cutlery to me. Next time I’ll spend the extra $$ to get the heavier weight and quality finish. I am going to donate this set to the office kitchen for their use and get something else.

Do not buy. After only 3 months the knives had large rust spots that do not come off and the knife handle ends are nasty sharp. The forks and spoons also rusted. Now I am out the purchase price because there is no warranty and I disposed of the original packaging. Choked I have to buy another set of table ware.

Liked all the utensils. Well worth the money. A definite recommend.
