I love it. It’s thick paint. Very smooth, the color is great, and the coverage is amazing. The coverage is my favorite part because I don’t have to use a lot of paint, a little goes a long way. I was able to cover an entire 30x40 canvas with just a few drops of paint. I would definitely buy from this brand again.

Beautiful color

This is a decent deal on a very good budget paint. The only frustrating thing - I got a purple instead of an ultramarine blue. Very frustrating. It's a color I use a lot. (Update - a pigment shortage of Ultramarine seems to have been the reason for the color substitute). Handling: if you like fast drying acrylic - this dries very fast. It spreads very smoothly! I tested it with US Art Supply retarding medium and matte medium - seemless. It takes layers exceptionally well. Different artist like different handling characteristics. Hopefully this helps. I give it 4 stars as it is an acrylic I can make very good use of. Update - more use and testing: This paint is pretty versatile. If you want good brush strokes, and pallet knife texture - you have to work it just long enough - as it just starts to tack (starts to set). If you want smooth blending, you need some solid skills in acrylic ...that is, you able to work fast. If you paint graphically - getting excellent control for sharp edges - this paint works great! This paint mixes well with Liquitex - keeping a nice satin finish, for those who like that. I got this for cheaper practice, and blocking layers to paint over. But I've found this to be a great fit for me. Every artist is different. Different techniques, speed, temperament. So different paint formulas will suit people differently. Also, you might be an individual who uses different brands. The formulas provide different characteristics you like for different uses. I am such a person. I'm not brand loyal - rather - I'm formula loyal. If a paint formula works for me - I don't care about the brand. Obvious note: you can only get so much from other people's reviews. I stand by my original review. This is solid budget paint! For myself, I'd give it 4.75 stars. But that's because it suits me very well. Some acrylic paints feel more gel like - as you spread it ...a slight gummy feel. These spread almost like a fine powdery feel - sliding easily. I love this feel. Seeking to be objective/impartial - I stand by 4 stars for this excellent budget paint.

I am beyond amazed at the coverage this paint offers for the price. I am usually a paint "snob" and only want to paint with Golden. While I love Golden's white, I think this one may be better! Don't let the price fool you, this is great paint!

I am a beginner painter! I absolutely love this paint! It is thick but honestly ive never used thin paint... so idk. The colors are good. Its easy to use! And affordable so I dont have to worry wasting paint..

Great for painting the back outside of an aquarium to highlight what’s inside the tank. Worked a treat. Really easy to paint on. Nice and thick with great coverage. It’s lasted over a year and still looks great. Dries pretty quick too.
