It fits my 24TB seagate expansion external 3.5 HDD ... it is a hard shell case with enough foam inside..very useful if you move a lot from place to place.

Fits perfectly. Case is harder than what I expected. Insides are well padded. Zipper is of good quality.

I got this for my Seagate Expansion 14TB backup drive. It fits the drive and AC adapter and USB cable well. The drive nests into the provided recess perfectly without any gaps. The case has a good carry handle, and the zippers work well. There is good foam cushion in the case bottom and lid and around all sides of the drive and drive accessories.

After returning to the office, I had to cart two hard drives daily in my back pack. After hearing them clang while walking, and avoiding a disastrous coffee spill from a leaky mug, I concluded that a safer method of transport was in order. My external drives are large, approximately 4” x 7” x 2”, so it required a bit of a search. Fortunately, I found and ordered the EVA hard-cases. The quality and fit are exceptional, the zipper closes tight and is sturdy, and the recessed foam openings allow the drives to fit snugly. To me, the product is high-quality and I would purchase another.

I appreciate the durability of the outside of this case and also all of the foam cushioning inside. I was able to fit my hard drive and all of its cords in snuggly, dividing chords from drive. Thankfully, I have not dropped this case (with my hard drive in it) but considering how sturdy it feels I do hope that if I were to drop it (from short distance) that it would save my hard drive from irreparable damage. I do hope not to find out.

Who knew I would need this case, and would be thoroughly testing this case, the second time my hard drive left home in it. One unfortunate evening, when it was pouring and extremely windy, my tote bag which contained only my hard drive and its power adapter protected within this case was blown from my person, upwards, then harshly down onto concrete. This case shirked off the rainwater, protected my drive, and looks as if nothing had ever happened. The design of the case is great, as there is a hard exterior and perfectly cut interior foam for keeping everything separate and safe. The zipper is smooth and the case did not have any of the odd odors that lots of EVA cases usually have.

So yes it is easy to remove or replace.

It fits perfect with the 8TB My Book Desktop external HD.

I have the guilty penchant of insisting most all of my tech is protected in fine quality strong cases. So this is one I am very pleased to use with the WD 3tb HDD. It’s a quality solid box/case with a good zip fastener, soft outer skin to the touch and filled with cut black foam that holds everything snug, almost tight, (including power cable). Pricey but well worth it in my opinion.
