I purchased these to raise the seat enough to clear the bidet feature I installed. These pads lifted the seat appropriately however the peel off stickum surface they come with will not keep them in place. I marked their position and used a strong quick set glue to secure them to the bottom of the toilet seat and they work fine. UPDATE 3/2025 the two toilet seats I used these on for the past 2 1/2 yrs have been working great and still firmly secured to the seat. Recently I purchased a different toilet seat and wanted to change it out expecting to use the bumper pads from the seat on there but those pads were on there to stay. They would come off without destroying the pads so I placed another purchase to have some to glue to the new seat. I installed them just as I did before using a quick set glue used to glue foam to a hard surface like a wall. They went on nicely and are working great. They clear the bidet perfectly and Im sure they will be there at least for the life of the seat. As stated in my previous review these bumpers work great and provide the exact distance required to clear the installed bidet. The only down fall is the adhesive that comes with the bumpers but its not the end of the show if you glue them to the toilet seat. Just remember to ensure the surface of the toilet seat where you plan to glue the bumpers is cleaned with some household rubbing alcohol first to allow no interference for the glue to take hold. If done right they should hold for ever.

(Two of the 5 original bumpers fell off relatively soon after applying)! It may sound silly, but I’m anticipating the other 3 will fall off soon (or I might just pull them off as they are “loose.” I have applied two new ones so far, that appear to be “here to stay.” No ‘hanging by a thread’ with these new guys! The original ones didn’t stick even when I applied pressure. The danger of the original poorer quality bumpers that came with the bidet aren’t dependable as is when you flush you may see one or more “is missing” and if it’s not on the floor, it becomes obvious it has been flushed down! (I found one on the floor after using the bidet, but never found the second missing bumper so for all I know it got flushed)! NOT GOOD!! You risk damaging your plumbing! But new ones are great; super-duper adherence (no wobbling) or half on or half off! These replacement guys are here to stay! Also they are white; match the toilet seat and are conveniently inconspicuous!! (Definitely easy to install just pull off the red sticker and you put the white bumper wherever you want it). If you want to use more than 5 or 6 for extra support you get a lot of them in one package.

I installed a bidet and the toilet seat ended up blocking the bidet spout from opening. These fixed the issue. Super easy to install. Only issue is the adhesive isn't great. 2 already fell off. But I just applied some double sided tape and it's been fine since.

I installed a bidet on my toilet and also replaced the toilet seat to a nicer one. The new toilet seat with the bidet under it sat too high off the toilet bowl. I needed to raise the toilet seat support feet by about another 1/8 of an inch. The pads worked perfectly: they were a perfect fit. The red adhesive cover was a little difficult to remove since I didn't want to inadvertently peel off adhesive from the support. There is no longer any stress on the toilet seat hinges or the bidet. I recommend these supports and would buy them again if I needed but there are enough for my 3 other toilets.

I installed 3 on each side of my seat just past the add-on bidet we have been using for a few years now. We had gotten these because our toilet seat cracked after years of using the bidet due to a lack of support where the add-on bidet raises the toilet seat about 3/4 an inch off the base. Within the first 3 days 1 fell off one side then 2 days later another fell off the other side. We still have 2 successfully holding on to the seat. When they fall they fall into the toilet and you have to get them out so they are not flushed and cause plumbing issues later. *Sigh* The sticky side is not sticky enough. They also should include a couple pieces with an extra height incase it is needed. to scale in a sloping manner from your bidet down to the toilet seat.

I needed these to help re-align the toilet seat after I installed an add-on bidet to the toilet top. So it turned out that placing them right next to the existing ones farther back closes the gap that originally existed, and takes the strain off the seat. It is a two-piece bumper, with the softer bottom piece resting on the porcelain. And, contrary to other reviews that complained about the bumper falling off, I've had no issues with that. The bottom of my seat is completely flat and adheres just fine. People with cheap plastic seats without flat bottoms may not properly accommodate the bumpers. Also, they provide 16 of them at a decent price.
