I had heard that Rosamonte was a good brand of mate, and comes from an area surrounded by rivers known as "Argentina's Mesopotamia." The dry yerba smells like a hayfield--that clean, sundried smell.The tea it makes reminded me strongly of "matcha" tea at first sip--a strongly smoky brew but pleasant. The smoky flavour lasts for the duration of the drink, which is a plus for me. Some milder mates "wash out" much more quickly. This one gives you more enjoyment for the same amount of leaf.I would agree with other reviews, that Amazon.uk's price of 5 pounds for half a kilo is too much, as I have seen it in shops in kilo bags for less than that.

This is literally my favorite from when I spent a month in Argentina 🇦🇷 It brings be back to being there. 🫶 Mate has also been referred to as nature’s ozempic. lol they say it can help curb food cravings, etc… I feel like it’s been really helpful for me while I am intermittent fasting! I like the taste alone or with some honey. 🍯
