Comfortable and exactly what we needed for snorkeling
My wife and I were looking for short fins for snorkeling to replace our full-size fins, which are cumbersome to travel with, and I picked the Cressi Palau Short Fins based on the good reviews here and elsewhere. I ordered the fins in May but didn't get to use them until recently. They were very comfortable and stayed put. As we expected, they don't provide as much thrust as full-size fins, so you have to work a little harder if there's a current, but they were more than adequate for our needs. Note that short fins like these are not recommend for scuba diving, since thrust is more important there.Since fit might be an issue. I originally ordered the two pairs of fins from the Dick's Sporting Goods web site, so I could return them to their store if they didn't fit (they didn't stock the fins in the store). Dick's only shipped my fins, because they ran out of my wife's size and color choice, so I ordered hers from Amazon. My wife's fins were the blue ones in MD/LG size, which fit her size 9 feet perfectly, and they came with the advertised mesh bag (which we didn't use). My fins from Dick's were the black and yellow ones in LG/XL, which fit my size 11.5/12 feet well, but no mesh bag was advertised or included.I would highly recommend these fins for snorkeling. I haven't tried putting these into carry-on luggage, but since they're only 17" long they should fit.

Great product ad reasonable price
After reading reviews and doing research I decided to get these for my vacation. I had always rented previous times. This is a perfect set for travel. Not to large. The product is comfortable and works perfectly

we were satisfied with the fins
I purchased two pairs of these fins, one for myself and one for my wife to use on our vacation to Hawaii. All in all, we were satisfied with the fins. They were small enough to fit in our luggage, rather than having to carry an extra bag for snorkel gear. While smaller than standard fins, they were adequate for snorkeling in calm water and water with mild currents. Our only complaint was that we had to tighten the straps quite a bit to keep them from slipping off. We both experienced the straps coming off during more vigorous swimming.I would recommend full size fins for SCUBA use, or for areas with strong currents. These are a great alternative however, for those only snorkeling in mild waters and who want less bulky fins to carry around.

Great SHORT fins for snorkeling
I brought these fins to our 1st Year Anniversary Trip to Mauritius. I'm a size 8 in Men and these fins fit me perfectly and were comfortable.PLEASE NOTE that these are short fins. They WILL take more effort to swim with these, compared to the fins you usually get when you do a snorkeling trip. We tried these in a swim with dolphins tour and it was a struggle for us to catch up. We switched to the "free fins" provided by the tour and were able to "catch up" easier with less effort. We used this in a normal snorkeling environment and it worked well. It never slipped off my foot and the straps didn't bother or scuff my foot/ankle. I'm not a great swimmer, but with these, I have the confidence to swim without any floaters.I wrote this review on my own will.

Good buy!
I use these 3 times a week and swim roughly 1 mile each time. They are very comfortable there is a just a spot that likes to rub on my toe occasionally. If they had a bungee strap it would make them much easier to use. They also run a little large in size. All in all, these are very good, comfortable and durable.

High quality construction, light, comfortable, compact and floats
I wear a US 9.5 in Nike and Aasics and the Medium/large size fit just a little snug. The adjustable straps are extremely easy to use. In general these types of fins are more natural to use and more responsive than other types of fins but they won't give you that extreme power when you're pushing around heavy equipment. I originally tried the IST Mediums which were both too small and about 2 levels of quality lower than the Cressis for the exact same price plush these come with a mesh bag and most don't. If you are looking for a short fin look no further. Very comfortable and responsive.

perfect size for carry on luggage
I haven't tried these in the water yet, but they are not very long and will easily fit in a carry on, which is what I was looking for. They were easy to get on and felt comfortable and seem to be solid quality. The small mesh bag would be better if it was a little larger and burlier so you could also put a snorkel and mask in it.

Great for snorkeling
Great set of compact fins for snorkeling! I took these to St Thomas/St John recently and spent 7 days in the water for an average of 2 hrs/day. Fins fit well, performed as expected, were comfortable, and appear to be durable. The fins fit easily in my carry-on luggage and the bag is really helpful as well. I wouldn't recommend them for scuba diving as they are too short/won't provide enough power for diving, but for ocean swimming and snorkeling, they are terrific.
