Good value but just ok quality
This was a nice variety pack for the DIY-ER wanting to make an industrial style lamp or other project. The value was worth the purchase, but the quality wasn’t as nice as the ones that we found at the store. The fit was as stated and they were easy to use.

Real Black Pipe fittings
If you want the old school real black pipe look you found your vendor!! All new parts, real black pipe, good stuff 🙌🏼. If, however, you wanted the black pipe look but with a clean finish, go find the closet organizer kits.

Perfect for diy interior design projects!
Bought these for a shirt display I put together. It did the trick! If you are not familiar with black pipe YOU NEED TO CLEAN OFF THE OIL!!! Black pipe always has an oil coating in it and it can damage and stain your projects!

Pipes aren't just for water
I am building a loft bed for my granddaughter because she has a small room. (yes I am the grandma)! To save space, I am building a combination book shelf and ladder. I made the book shelf to attach to the bed and attached the pipes to extend out from each shelf to create a ladder and have easy access to the books. On the other side of the book shelf, I have painted chalkboard paint for her little office under the bed. I am still in the process of building it. I only have to assemble and adjust everything.

Very light duty.
Very light duty. No where near as rugged as the black iron fittings bought at a hardware store. Definitely decor use only. Packaging was horrible and I was missing a flange and elbow. The yellow paper bag was taped up, in a plastic bag, then a paper Amazon bag. Just poor packaging in general.

I spray painted my copper color to act as attach points for copper tubing worked perfectly and saved me a bundle

NOT PLUMBING FITTINGS
THESE ARE NOT PIPE FITTINGS. They are very cheap and thin copies of pipe fittings. They are not rated for any plumbing schedule use or are acceptable for shelving of any strength. They would be OK for shelving if the total load is less than1lb per foot but any more weight and the fittings break. If you have dvds or other light weight items they will probably be ok but books or hardware will probably break the fittings. Mine are going back as I wished to use them to store tools and hardware.
