The screen protector helps buffer the punches I deliver to the surface & below. Plus the oils from my fingers & hands are more difficult to clean off the surface of my iPad without the screen protector on. Sensitivity doesn’t seems to be a factor in the use of the screen protector as I was suspicious of at first. So I would purchase it again. The only drawback is the installation of the screen protector. I was a little nervous applying it as you can only get 2 chances of installing it correctly before it becomes unforgiving of your mistake of fitting it correctly to the glass surface. They supply a frame to help apply the adhesive screen protector to the glass of the iPad. I just had to lift the screen protector up once partially as the air bubbles get trapped underneath easily.
