For years I have always purchased 10” stretched canvas on a 1/2” wood frame in bulk. When I ran across Asani canvas panels I though I would give them a try. The first thing that grabbed my attention was the variety of sizes and secondly the total number of panels since I use a lot. I bought the Asani Pre-Primed White cotton Canvas Panels. There were 28 Boards with 7 of each size - 5 x 7, 8 x 10, 9 x 12, and 11 x 14. I have never used a panel so I tried my two most go-to mediums; acrylics and water soluble crayons. I use so many because my two grandsons insist on using everything I use. This time the three year-old helped make multi media Valentine gifts. He helped every step of the way (except the black words.). Plus he made the one with blue paint, because he does not like pink! I have never used canvas for multi media thinking it would flex and not hold up. I love the way the panels worked. I will use these for multi media rather than really heavy paper from now on. And, I love the 5x7 size. So fun. The second medium I used is Caran D’Ache Neocolor II water soluble crayons. I normally used the stretched canvas and hang them in the grand kids bedroom. Completely out of room now! I thought at least these won’t take up a lot of shelf space if I don’t hang them, but I actually like the results on the panels better. Now what? The water soluble crayons does not soak into the canvas or run . It seems to sit more on the top making it more vibrant and easier to blend. I will buy these again instead of the other type.

Boyfriend bought these through my prime account, under my nose, as a gift which was sweet. Or at least he kept his fingers cross I wouldnt buy anything of recent and run across it in my orders. He had no idea I still have an unopened box of more of these style of thin canvases. Not sure of the actual sizes I have stored away but more options for art supplies is nice. He has some stuff he wants me to paint. I sadly put a halt to my creativity the past few years due to some unfortunate events and been trying to encourage myself to get back into it. Just have a lot on my plate and when I paint, I prefer to finish what I start. I hate stopping on a project or else I know I wont come back to it. But here is hoping I will get the flow of energy back. The quality of these are real nice and I know they work well with acrylic paint. Acrylic is all I use so sadly I dont know what other types of paints would work with it but I am sure there are answers in the questions or through other reviews. I think these are great for any artist and people starting out just trying to learn to paint since you have different canvas sizes to work with. You can always start small and then work your way up with new ideas if you are new. Never be afraid to try and always encourage those you love who like to dabble in the creative worlds they love to imagine and build.

The packaging these came in was very walk organized and secure from damage. Each set of sizes were wrapped together, but then each canvas was wrapped individually also which I loved this way you don’t have to worry about the unopened canvases. I used paint markers, the canvas was able to withstand the moisture with no running of the paint. I loved how stretched tight they were without all the bulking backing to them. The flat stretched canvases are so nice and very easy to work with. The quantity you get for the price is amazing. Great quality for a great price, and the variety of sizes is perfect to keep on hand for you never know exactly what you need for a project. I am looking forward to purchasing more of these!

I added a 5x7 and an 8x10 I painted to show how I used them. I would definitely purchase them again. In high school art many years ago I learned the quality of the canvas can have a lot to do with the outcome of a painting. I am very impressed with the canvas as it makes blending very easy. I have used some canvases that I had a difficult time blending on but with this canvas texture and quality blending was very smooth. I am excited to use the rest of the canvases now that I have tried them, I definitely recommend them. They are individually wrapped which makes it easy to keep them clean until they are used, they are very durable and don’t bend easily, which is a problem with others I have used, and finally I love the fact they are primed which is a plus.

My family and I have tried lots of new projects during quarantine and painting has been one of our favorites. My husband ordered some other brand of canvases when the quarantine started and we did not care for them too much. I decided to order these based on the great reviews they have and needless to say I am not disappointed. They’re sturdy and make paining easy. I went to Michaels to buy acrylic paint to paint some floral designs and got way to excited with all the fall decore I decided to paint pumpkins and make it spooky instead. I would definitely recommend these canvases. I will be buying more especially for our annual cousins paint and drink night after quarantine.

1st, the packaging these came in was sturdy and they were well packed so there was not damage to them. Each set of sizes was wrapped together, but then each canvas was wrapped individually also. I love this so when myself or the kids grab one, we are not getting anything on the other canvass 2nd these are soo durable for all types of mediums. We used water color, acrylic paints, paint markers and I have even used one for a layered paper/mod podge project and the canvas was able to withstand the moisture. I have tried the same project on other flat board canvases and they just warped. 3rd the number you get for the price is amazing. Great quality for a great price, and the variety of sizes is perfect to keep on hand, never knowing exactly what we need for a project.

I am so happy I chose these canvases. You can't beat the value. Any other place would charge so much more for 28 canvases. These are a little different than the ones I have bought previously from craft stores. They are flat and don't have the wood frame and are called panels. I like the panels so much better because the canvases aren't as heavy and they don't take up as much space. I use these mainly for my children with paints, paint markers and paint pens. They love the variety of sizes and that we can easily display their latest masterpieces. I will definitely buy again. Great product!

This canvas set from Asani is well worth the money. Delivery was super quick and I received 4 different sizes (7 of ea.) . First of I loved the fact that each canvas was wrapped individually. I offer arts and crafts workshops and it simply looks better to receive a canvas still wrapped. Second the canvas is ready to use, no sealing or treatment needed prior. This saves money and time. I work a lot with silk transfer transfers/stencils which are very sensitive to certain surfaces. I was suprised how easy it was to peal my stencils off from the canvas. Last but not least those are very thin canvas. It leaves so much options open for usages such as framing or attaching (glue) to a different background such as wood to create different decor. I will most definitely buy those again
