The best performing, least expensive, made in America earplugs for work, sleep, showering--whatever
I know 3M has been in the news during the pandemic, and not for good reasons, and it appears some of the combat earplugs they made for the military are not working correctly (you can read about that here, obviously change the underscores to periods before using the link: www_militarytimes_com/news/your-military/2019/02/14/hundreds-of-vets-are-suing-over-these-defective-combat-earplugs/) Nothing to indicate this was done deliberately, and certainly 3M is not known for botching manufacturing generally, but I'm a huge supporter of all those in uniform, so this disturbs me--but bottom line these are simply the best deal-- also the best performing noise reduction plugs, 33dB NR, and made in America. A no brainer choice. They're both pliable and yet incredibly effective, allowing you to fit them perfectly and feel them expand gently to fill the ear canal--like tiny memory foam inserts--perfect whether using them in a work environment or just to be able to sleep. They come in individually wrapped packages in a large box very convenient--made of non-toxic, non-leaching polyurethane, no latex, and very unlikely to cause any allergic reactions. I wouldn't swim with these, but they're great if you want to take a shower and you're prone to getting water in your ears. Working in the yard, they not only reduce noise from the leaf blower, they keep dust and particulates out of your ear canal. Put some of that alcohol we've been using to disinfect against covid on your fingers before you roll/insert the ear plug, but I've used these for years and never had any type of infection or issue. Bonus benefit: in fact when you take them out they often act as a kind of gentle excess ear wax cleaning! Beautiful, these will change your life, no kidding. A note on sleep: I suggest using them frankly every night, not just on noisy nights, if you really want a deep sleep--even having the sound of your partner breathing and moving, a beautiful comforting sound of course, but can slightly disturb your sleep--or a pet that shares the bed moving around, we're not aware of it necessarily, but it does affect the quality of our sleep. Using the earplugs is like swaddling your ears with a blanket, it's a comfort and it's also giving your eardrums and brain circuitry that handles sound a healthful rest while deepening & lengthening your sleep. Lastly, these are great if you're commuting on noisy public transit, or walking along a noisy road because you can still hear any warning sounds in the environment, but it's like you're wrapped in protective padding. Enjoy the quiet, the improved sleep and the comfort. Stay safe, take care

Great product
Earplugs are soft and insert easily into ear and provide great sound defening.

Soft Foam Earplugs
Arrived in good condition, in a timely fashion, at a reasonable price compared to other sites, and works. Used these and yellow ones from EAR 20+ years working on jet and turboprop aircraft. No loss in hearing upon retirement. Have small ziploc baggies of them everywhere for a multitude of uses. Concerts? Monster truck shows. Firing ranges. Chain sawing. I swear by these! What else is needed? Would order again.

I sleep better now, I will definitely buy these again.
I got these on my husband's recommendation. I have a hard time sleeping at night since my husband has started snoring. He uses these for when he goes target practicing and recommended I try them for sleep. I figured it's worth a shot. I have small ears and have a hard time getting most ear plugs to stay. These ones allow me to twist them up small enough to actually fit them into my small ear tubes. And they stay in all night, which is another thing other ear plugs couldn't do for me. As far as noise cancelling, they work very well but they are not absolute. I can still faintly hear my husband snoring and the AC going. I cannot hear, however, my cat crying at the door at night which is a plus. They're enough noise cancelling that I can fall asleep. The only problem I have with them is that they tend to leave my ears kinda raw after about 2 nights of using them. It might just be because my ears are small and my skin is sensitive. My husband says he does not have that problem with them, so it might just be me. Overall, I sleep better so I will be buying them again.

Good for flying, noisy restaurants, when using loud equipment or tools. Individually packed.
I have some real sensitivity to loud noises, especially what you hear when in an open floor plan type of restaurant, so I need earplugs. These are comfortable in the ear, muffle the noise, especially the sharp parts like dishes clanking together, etc. I also wear when working with tools like a compressor, hammer, drill, etc. Effective when flying too (and comfortable enough for a long flight). If I was using commercial equipment, I would likely need something a little stronger (or put over the ear protection on). These are also good for when you want to double up with earplugs and over the ear phones, like at a gun range or Indy Car race. I really like the individual packages they come in – I know they’re clear when I open them and makes it easy to keep a few pair in our vehicles and my wife’s purse.

Holy giant box of earplugs, batman.
Great earplugs! They do their job and are relatively comfortable once jammed into my ear canals, where they slowly expand as if they are going to spread outward and over my entire head, turning me into a 3M memory foam zombie. But they stop expanding well before that - just in time to block out noise and not quite so much that anyone will run screaming when they see the yellow foam slowly ballooning outward from your ears. A word of warning, though - 200 pairs means a box roughly the size of an overweight beagle. If, like me, you'd like to have a nice quantity of earplugs on hand but do not want to advertise to your neighbors that you really go through a lot of earplugs, you might want to have these sent to a neutral 3rd party, or your vacationing neighbor's house, so you can sneak them home in the dead of night. If, like me, you want to block out some snoring but don't want to accidentally convey to your wife that her snoring requires INDUSTRIAL QUANTITIES OF MITIGATION SUPPLIES, same deal. What I'm saying here is this is a large box of earplugs. They are not packed densely. They are in pillowy bags of genuine 3M factory air, and take up lots of room. It's like a big box of packing peanuts, but each peanut contains two earplugs. Also, your wife might not think it's funny that you have ordered a quantity of earplugs suitable for enduring an entire apocalypse. Just saying.

I have used ear plugs daily for over 10 years. Listen Grass Hopper.
I sleep most nights in a semi-truck next to other noisy semi-trucks. I sleep with ear plugs every night. Have for years. Have tried all ear plugs. Most ear plugs will make your ears hurt if wearing for extended periods. These are incredibly soft while still blocking noise extremely well. When I first felt how soft these were I thought I had made a big mistake, that they would never block out noise like I need. I was oh so pleasantly surprised. These are amazing. I rarely write reviews, I only write this now because of the few bad reviews I see here. Don't believe it. Are these as big as those big clunky, coarse ear plugs pictured in other review? No. I think I have a normal size ear. I complained to a safety manager once because he bought ear plugs for narrow ear canals. Those were too narrow and did not block noise. These are fine. If you have ears you can fit your thumb in maybe look elsewhere. Noise blocking is slightly reduced from the denser foam 3m plugs similar to this. But it is actually a welcome trade off for comfort. For me it's the perfect ear plug at an amazing price.

Not as good as Max Lite plugs
i would give this 3.5 stars if it were an option. on comfort, the reason i bought these, they are quite comfortable. however, they are not that different in comfort from the howard leight max lite plugs i was using before these (which are well reviewed, and amazon has a prime seller selling as "maxlit"). honestly sometimes i think one is more comfortable and then other times i think the other is more comfortable, so there's really no difference at least of meaningful / major difference. however, the max lites DEFINITELY DEFINITELY seal better. i can hear a lot clearer with these ear soft plugs in than i can w/ the max lites, so that's a negative and a significant one considering i don't want to hear if i have ear plugs in. for this reason of approx equal comfort and better sealing i'd choose the max lite. the max lite also comes in an easier to deal w/ individual package per set (the plastic is perforated plastic and like a millisecond to open whereas these ear soft are a little more cumbersome packaging) however, one factor that does arguably favor the ear softs is their shape is a straight "bullet" shape whereas the maxlites are a "T" shape. the only difference this makes is the ear softs look cooler coming out of your ears (or maybe better put "not as dorky") and can also be slightly more comfortable to sleep on since there's less material outside your ear. however, even taking this into consideration, i'd rather sleep on the max lites cause they aren't bad to sleep on and the sealing is just so much better with the max lites. i wished i'd stuck w/ what i had and just bought the max lites again.

Bright Yellow Silence
Now I have enough ear plugs for my kids and my grandkids. Or, I would if I had kids. Instead, I have lots of ear plugs to block out the screams and shrieks of other people's kids on public transportation like air planes and ferries and trains. I confess to also using these on a long highway drive, when I was just tired of hearing the road noise all the time. Surprisingly, I could actually hear my stereo better because the volume was already turned up higher than the road noise (which was only about 90% blocked out), but was more clear for the muting of the drone of the tires on concrete. They also worked wonders at a bnb I stayed at last night, which was hotter than hades when I got there, and needed the air conditioning to be running full-blast in my bedroom so I could sleep. And indeed, these did an amazing job blocking out that jet engine sound 5 feet from my head. I didn't realize they'd be individually wrapped. I guess if I'm going to have them for 50 years, that's not a bad thing - will keep the oxygen off them, to keep the foam from degrading over that time. Also makes it easy to grab them and throw in a backpack for a short trip, or to keep in various places for various places. I also love the colour. Tennis ball yellow is my favourite colour in the world, and these do not disappoint. Makes it really easy to find them when they're stuck in my makeup bag.

Dont Buy These
3M seemed to be a trusted name in Noise isolating products. I did not like this version of the earbuds . They are short and the rating of NRR 32 db looks like a joke. Also their 1100 seem to be doing the exact same job even when they have rated them 28 db . Dont go for them 3M 1100 are cheaper and you don't have to buy them in bulk. I had to purchase a whole pack of 200 of these Neon Earplugs from ibhejo and since this is a non-returnable product I feel stuck with them.

Comfortable, sound proof, and affordable
I use these to sleep at night and when travelling. They are absolutely comfortable, keep even the loudest snorers and plain noises down to a whisper. I am a very light sleeper and always had issues falling asleep because of noise. Now I sleep like a rock. Highly recommend it.
