Great value for the money, sturdy and reliable
I purchased this item for use while training during the "indoor" season here in New England. That means basically November through March. So for six months out of the year, I ride 6 days/week in the basement. During that time, I'm a member of a global virtual cycling team. The block experiences a lot of abuse from the pressure put on the handlebars when I get out of the saddle to perform a sprint or when going uphill. With three different height levels, you can put your front tire on a level that works best for you. I should say that, even with the sprinting, it holds the front wheel steady and I am confident of avoiding an indoor crash (they said it couldn't be done, but I've already done it-- once lol). In the past, my other blocks are cracked within one season and I have to buy a new one. Each one was roughly $10-$15 bucks. This was a little more, but the durability is well worth the price. For the first time, I don't have to buy a new one at the end of the season. Rider info: 5' 10", 165 libs

Works pretty darn good
Before buying this , I had been using some planks of wood duct taped together with some carpeting covering them, it was ok. I had been using that with an old trainer that made a racket, it sounded like a freight train. I purchased a new trainer and added the standard trainer block that came with it to my wood plank set up, again the stability was ok, it could have been a bit better. I saw this trainer block and it took me awhile to order it because of the price. I know there is another popular brand block that is a bit more even. Any way this works very nicely. It does not move around, I have it on a carpeted floor and I found the height I wanted, hence no need for the wood plank set up. I like how there is a good amount of bike tire length that fits in the block and how the block hugs the tire, I think that is what makes the big difference. From time to time I stand up and pedal, I am careful but I feel secure in doing this. This piece of equipment was worth it. I got the blue one. It also looks nice.

Works well
Just received the item. Used it for a short, low intensity ride. It’s very stable on a rubber mat. Maybe somewhat slippery on a wooden floor. It comes with some small rubber pads, which may be sufficient to keep it from moving around a lot.

Very stable!!
I purchased a trainer for my recumbent trike so I can ride my trike indoors during our rainy and cold winter months. After a few sessions of feeling like I was riding in a downhill position, I purchased the bike block/risers. Being a trike, that meant I needed 2 of them for my front tires. This took a bit of trial amd error to find the right product. Some of the blocks did not fit my Big Apple2.0 tires very well. Some did not seem very stable. I tried the KOM blocks and WOW, what a difference in stability! They are quite a bit larger and wider, but having the 2 heights is great! Yes - a bit expensive, especially when you need 2 of them- but well worth it! I f you have a trainer for your bike /trike, these blocks are worth the cost!

A must have when gearing up for indoor training
If you are like me you think about every aspect of your training, the workout schedule is dialed, kit is set, shoes and cleats are just so. And the trainer is that one you've been dreaming of, but a riser block. You forgot a riser block! This is the perfect addition to the pain cave. Three levels to get the perfect angle, it hold multiple sized wheels with no problems (I've tried 23-28's) and best of all it is a great size. Some blocks are too small and they move around whenever you touch your bars, some are so big you just don't want to deal with them, but this finds that happy place. It stays where it is put, especially with the little gripper feet. If you are going to be on the trainer this is the block to get.
