Newest High Flow Siphon Hand Pump Portable Manual Car Fuel Transfer Pump for Gas Gasoline Petrol Diesel Oil Liquid Water Fish Tank with 2M Syphon Hose

I bought this to vacuum the bottom of my water fountain, and to also change the water. Given the larger tube diameter, it takes no time to empty the fountain. Plus, it sucks up all of the gunk at the bottom. I've never had the gunk clog the pump itself. It just use the hose and flush water through the entire system after using. One good thing, I did not cut the tube in half as recommended. Rather, I kept it long, and insert the bulb at one end; then put the bulb on the ground, and with a few pumps, start the siphon. I just leave the bulb on the ground, while everything drains. Update 9/25/2020 Flapper inside bulb is periodically staying stuck in the open position. I rinse water through the tube and bulb after each use, so the inside stays clean. It's a flimsy plastic flap that is getting stuck. Update 12/24/2020 Flapper was stuck due to debris. Once cleared, works perfectly. I really get a lot of use from this pump.

This siphon pump has saved me headaches many times and still after a couple years it works fine. I keep it hanging on a shed overhead rafter so the hose is always in a normal non kinked position.

I had a break on my house water connection and dirt/sand got into the system, especially in the toilet tanks. Didn't want to drain them and try to get it out that way so I thought of doing it with a siphon. That actually worked, pumping the dirty water and grit into the toilet bowl for flushing away. I got this particular one because it was high-flow with the large diameter tubes. The most effective action, especially on the sand, was to constantly pump it by squeezing the pump ball. The pump ball is kind of crummy but I stuck with it and made it work on three toilets. $13 for the siphon compared to $200 to the plumber.

Not very well made hose has to be stretched out and heated to reshape from being in the package ( crimped in multiple locations) Clamps are cheap and the hand screws are not very good I had to use my own clamps. would not purchase again.

1) You need to keep in mind the height of the bottom of the container you are draining and the height of the hose end you have in the second container. If the difference in height is big, it siphons easily. But if those two heights are only 1 foot apart, it will not start siphoning easily. I drained the fuel tank on my Jeep, but I needed to jack up the back to get it really going because my can was tall. The more it filled the slower it got. 2) The hose is soft and gets kinks in it when they stuff it in the box. I have to heat it with a hair dryer or if it's a hot day lay it on a flat surface in the sun to get the kinks out, BUT..you need to let the black bulb cool back off to use it. It gets too soft to use. 3) I found the hose clamps worked just fine. 4) Cut the hoses to the size that works for your application first. A bunch of coiled up hose makes it not work as well. You want nice straight runs for the liquid to flow smoothly 5) The hose was too big to make the corners in my Jeep fuel filler hose. I had to attach a smaller hose on the end to get it to guide around tight corners and get into the tank.

What comes included: The item comes with the hand pump, 2 clamps (1 for each side), and a Single hose tube that measures 2 meters (2 Meters is 6.5 Feet). The user needs to cut the tube to the size that meets their requirements. Review: I purchased this pump to drain some fuel that has been sitting in my 2020 Toyota Tacoma trucks gas tank for a really long time because I wasnt using the truck due to the Covid-19 lockdowns so I wanted to drain all the old fuel out of the tank to take it to be recycled and then put fresh new fuel in the tank but sadly I pumped like crazy and no fuel ever came out of the tank. I made sure that the flow arrow was pointing down towards the direction that I wanted the liquid to flow (into the gas container) and I made sure that all the clamps were on tight, I even tried to reverse the tubes (putting the longer half I cut towards the drain side instead of the pump side) to see if maybe it was an issue where the tube was too long and it wasnt creating enough suction but that didnt get the pump to work either. Conclusion: I would not buy this agian, I guess ill just have to drive my truck with the old gas until it runs out and I can refill it with fresh gas since the pump was useless.

I am happy with this purchase. I assembled the tube at both ends of the bulb and then cut the tube near the middle so that I have about the same amount of tube coming into the bulb as going out. I was draining gasoline out of my generator. First attempt didn’t work because I had the wrong end of tubing in the gas tank. When I switched and put the other end of the tubing in the tank the bulb did it’s job and the gas flowed into my gas can easily.

I've used others, but they take for ever to transfer fuel. I've used battery powered pumps, but the cold weather kills the batteries and I keep this in my truck when camping. No batteries and it transfers 15 gals of fuel in about ten minutes, while I sit in a nice warm truck out of the weather. Cut the hose to length and tighten the hose clamps and two squeezes and it works. I did add a short piece of 1/2 copper tubing to the suction in for the gas can to keep the hose sucking fuel to the bottom of the gas can, but this thing is simple, easy and works like a dream.

It's a nice product at a nice price . Works well ...can be a blessing when a vehicle runs out of fuel..u can always take out fuel from other vehicle of Yr own or of an angel doner....however ,one suggestion to add ....they have a valve inside and a small arrow indicating direction of fuel flow ..that way specifying inlet and outlets...that arrow requires to be more bold , bigger in size and prominent...which will easily tell the 1st time user which size is inlet and which 1 is outlet... A good product ..User should use marker to indicate inlet outlet to avoid confusion during the time of immergency

The Siphon Hand Pump arrived very quickly and it was put to use almost immediately. I use it to transfer diesel from jerry cans to my generator. I was disappointed that the clear hose had kinks in it but when they are removed it works great. I appreciated that the hose was in one piece which enabled me to cut it myself so that each end was the appropriate length. In my case the hose still wasn't quite long enough so I used a longer hose that I had lying around.
